And I do not mean that it is across the harbor from the container terminal. At a recent business meeting at San Pedro, I attended a dinner at San Pedro's faux New England fishing village "Ports O' Call" that the LA Times said "has been down on its luck. The collection of Old English, New England and Spanish styled buildings... More

Looking for a place to eat close on last night in Palos Verdes and stumbled on this restaurant on Open Table. What a lucky find. Although some rooms filled with special occasion parties, we had no trouble getting seated in the outdoor area. Ordered crab and shrimp Louie Royale and not only found it to be substantial, as advertised, but... More

First - this is in San Pedro Harbor NOT Los Angeles...TripAdvisor does not recognize this city....We were heading back to the desert after a weekend in San Pedro for a friends birthday party, Eric had never been to the port of San Pedro so I thought it would be fun to stop (lots to do around here), after walking around... We have eaten here before and prefer their dining room which has a nice view of the harbor and ships arriving and leaving including cruise liners. The food has always been good and this visit proved they still maintain high standards. Parking is close by and the menu is varied, seafood, steak and more familiar foods such as Burgers. I... More

We went to Ports O' Call and were not impressed at all. We did stop in here and it made our trip far better. They have a very nice seating area out side with shade covers and things to keep the birds out which is very nice. They have a 50 item salad bar which is all you can eat... More

Even though the drive to Ports O' Call Restaurant in the San Pedro area is a long one for us, we feel it is a good way to expose out-of-town guests to one important facet of Southern California life. Ports O' Call if our go-to place for a wonderful Sunday brunch. We prefer that area of the port to the... More

I enjoyed my fish tacos, but my husband wasn't impressed with his swordfish. Service was very good and the water views were nice.

It was a bit pricey and the view was of a shipyard. Customers were very casual. Food was fine. Service was average. In general I would not go out of way to eat here. The area is nice to walk around and shop but I would suggest go to Long Beach.

Staying in San Pedro a day early for a cruise. Had lunch there. Had salad from salad bar and it was excellent, very fresh - they even cook their own fresh beets to serve. It was so good, we went back that evening for "happy hour." It wasn't very crowded since it was a Thurs. night, but we did find... More
