Mo-chica has great peruvian inspired dishes and the best drink choices on 7th Street in Los Angeles. Been therem any times alone or with friends. The ceviche is off the hook.

I have been to several Peruvian restaurants and this one was ok. We before the downtown art walk one night. Could have been that the restaurant was slammed. Had drinks, appetizer, dinner and dessert. I think the appetizer was the only thing that stood out.

My wife has allergies to a lot of spices, and soy, and eggplant, etc. so we avoid places where we can't easily identify everything, so while I have lived a couple of blocks away for a couple of years, we have not gone here, especially with all the other great choices nearby. But, I had a friend visiting and my... More

Armed with a $50 gift certificate and the travel experience to Cusco, my husband and I were hoping to enjoy great Peruvian cuisine in LA. We arrived on a Friday night at around 5PM and found metered parking across the street at $6 an hour! Sandwiched between several other high-end restaurants, we entered to find that we were the only... More

Wine: limited list Food: mediocre Service: alright Ambiance: relaxed I was looking forward to the ceviche at Mo-Chico. Ordered the mixed and I was a bit disappointed. Was hoping for more flavour. The salted lomo didn't have a lot of meat and didn't have the Yum factor I was looking for.

We arrived without a reservation mid- week and had no trouble getting a table. Service was friendly, menu interesting- choice of cerviches , grilled artichoke, alpaca etc. enjoyed our food, but do suggest they ease up on the salt especially in the chicken aji. Loved the summer parfait, coconut mousse is delicious!

Mo-Chica offers an urban vibe with friendly staff, and an Asian-influenced Peruvian cuisine that is served tapas-style. We enjoyed the ceviche mixta and the arroz con pollo. But for us, the chopped salad was uninspiring, and it was topped with lots of blue cheese dressing. I would not recommend the Peruvian beer, which is the only type they serve. But... More

We dined here last weekend for our second time. The service is very attentive and personal with delicious tapas for sharing. We asked for bread to sop up the delicious sauce & it came to us toasted, nice extra touch! Wish we lived closer. Also the coffee was so good.

I hate the idea of tapas having to buy several plates and share with others but this experience wasn't horrible. Id rather order my own dinner portion then have the option to share if I want but let's continue the review. The pisco sour was not that great. I'd say skip it at this restaurant and try it some place... More

There is a distinct multiplicity of cultures here with a growing influx of business professionals and hipsters. Many call the evolution of Downtown over recent years gentrification. New lofts, bars, hotels and restaurants are popping up regularly. Downtown is home to some of the very best restaurants in the city leading the LA foodie scene, plus it is the location of cultural and sports venues including the Walt Disney Concert Hall, the Staples Center, and the Coliseum at the University of Southern California.
