The Cafe is downstairs from the restaurant. We took a look at the restaurant menu. It was quite pricey. Downstairs is the cafe which had a lot of choices and was reasonably priced. Food was surprisingly good. I don't normally have very high expectations at Museum cafes.

There were 4 of us for brunch, and each tried a different entree for Sunday brunch. Three out of four were terrible (tasteless: rubberized omlette and frittata, non-Cobb salad). The only entree that was delicious was my husband's "bread pudding." Until things change, I would recommend avoiding this restaurant. They need a new chef and menu, and they need to... More

I've visited the Getty several times and always include a meal to give the experience a more relaxed feel. Time your meal - peak hours are crowded and if it's chilly, you want an inside table. The restaurant offers many choices. You can wait in line on a hot plate or pick up something in the refrigerated section. It's not... More

Nice fancy and expensive foods. Must get the table by the window otherwise you are just paying too much for nothing. Foods taste are not disappointment. You do pay for the location and ambience. I recommend it once in a life time thing if you want the experience.

The servers need help with English. The foods are mediocre at best . The setting is wonderful. Sadly, we couldn't eat the setting.

I've been fortunate enough to dine here on several occasions, and have always been impressed with the quality of the food and the service. From the salads to the soups to the entrees, this is quality dining with an amazing view. The wine and drink options, excellent coffees and desserts all add up to make this a great experience and... We were visiting The Getty one Sunday before our flight out of LA. We didn't come here for the restaurant, but let me just say, we totally would after eating there! It is SO GOOD! We have been talking about their Cheese platter for months now. Such an enjoyable experience with their fun champagne and wonderful entrees. Would definitely go... More

The food was excellent. A little on the expensive side but the waitresses were professional and efficient. Clean, tastefully decorated too.

We were surprised at both the variety and the quality of food at this restaurant. Each 'station' served a variety of different foods - Asian, TexMex, salads and soups... In addition, there was a wide choice of prepared salads and drinks, including wine and beer. Pricing was reasonable, there were no queues and lots and lots of seating. Adjacent to... More
