The food here is quite good and the dishes are prepared in front of you by the sushi chefs if you are sitting at the counter. The menu is extensive and, to tell the truth, very confusing. But with the help from a friendly server, we got what we wanted---some sashimi, grilled Chilean Sea Bass and a bunch of sushi.... More

My first clue that this restaurant would be good was seeing a group of people waiting for the restaurant to open as we drove into the parking lot. We ordered a variety of skewers, rolls, and soup that including Chilean sea bass, asparagus and pork, lobster rolls, and swordfish. It was great rotating from small dish to small dish and... More

You'll find some of the freshest sushi! Skewered meats and vegetables are fantastic. This is a place where you'll want to return again and again.

One of the best and my favorite sushi places in L.A. Always great quality of fish and meats. Bad thing is that many people have deserved it and the line to get a table is getting longer at peak hours. Great lunch specials too. Just had one today.

Kushiyu is one of my favorite restaurants in the valley with options and shukiyaki (cooked bbq) is a good options for this not in the raw stuff. Recommendations reserve or go early or you will have to wait 45 minutes .

I waited 30 mins for my chicken teriyaki. It was not tasty and the sashimi was also disappointing. My friend ordered the Churashi bowl and he was disappointed by the portion size and the quality of fish.

Popped in on a recommendation and it's right across the street from my acupuncturist. Great lunch specials, friendly sushi chef, fantastic quality of fish. Lunch comes with tasty salad and miso soup. Great value. Server was a little slow/overwhelmed, I got my salad and soup after my hand rolls but it was all delicious and the place was packed. Most... More

We visited the establishment as a large family. The food was average, not awesome. The server missed two items that we ordered and billed for, however the staff was eager to resubmit the order before we paid the bill. Seated quickly and service was great.
