I've been to Brothers Sushi several times and have tried an assortment of menu items. But when all is said and done, the three things that keep me coming back, again and again, are the rich tacos, the Hawaiian poke, and the oysters on the half shelf. You won't find the rich tacos anywhere else (at least I haven't). The... More

Was looking for sushi on our way to Whole Foods and we piled into Brothers sushi. Thank God we passed up in the earlier sushi restaurant we saw. We are not from LA but visiting relatives and were looking to eat sushi. This place is unbelievable, small place but great food and typical slow anything outside of NYC service. Later... More

I have eaten here a number of times over the years (this place has been around for at least 30 years) and find the food and service to be excellent. However, similar to other reviewers, it is not a cheap place to eat. Still it's value for money just be careful what you order.

Sorry, but absolutely nothing special. Beware that some of the prices on the specials are not clearly listed, the same goes for your bill- not itemized. This place came recommended to me, but I am afraid I will not be doing the same. $160 for two people (we shared a beer) for what we had was a bit over priced.... More

Did I say that this place was expensive? Did I say that it was hard on the wallet? The fish is superb, no complaints. My wife and I are sushi snobs and I offer no apology for that condition. It has taken many dollars and too many sushi restaurants to not value the taste of great sushi. But this place... More

This was my second visit and again the food was very good. The service is attentive in this modest location - almost feels like you're in someone's house. But then the bill arrived and I almost fell out of my chair. Granted that I don't eat rolls with rice and mostly had all fish dishes. I just had never spent... More

Sashimi was perfect. Yellowtail belly, salmon, chutoro (prefer over otoro). Asked for a handroll with uni sans rice. Was perfect Great sake list. Sat at Sushi bar (is there any other way to eat at a sushi restaurant?

This place is fantastic! If you arent careful you will drive right by it as its a rather small building with neon signs - but dont let that kid you!! To echo other reviewers - you cant miss with Brothers! Its kinda small, so you may have to wait depending on when you go - but its worth it! Great... More

This place is amazing! After eating here no other shushi place that I've been to can come close to how great it taste. The owner goes every morning to the fish market at 4 am to hand pick the fish that he will be serving. It is the freshest most mouthwatering sushi you will ever eat. The Steve roll is... More

Sushi snobs unite! Brothers Sushi in Woodland Hills just can't be beat and is a valley institution. I hate to say too much as the wait will get longer :-) It's the real deal when it comes to sushi...and their K Roll is the best roll around. There isn't a better sushi chef than Goro-San!
