Food was great, steak was excellent and properly cooked, and the prices were good. Its a classic, slightly worn LA staple that looks rough from the outside, but intimate in, and the big white booths are spacious and cozy. The only downside was the appalling welcome by the manager; it was non existent, no acknowledgement of our arrival, he just... More

Finally got a chance to review this place! Amazing is all I can really say. The history and the decor of the inside is wonderful! The music was good and I'll certainly be here again next time I'm in town. So glad I took my friend up on the suggestion. Try it out!

Ok this is a must! First time to LA. The service is crazy amazing. The decor is circa 1950's think Frank & Dean. The food was well prepared. My wife loved the prime rib and I wanted more of the veal parmigiana. Save some wine for the chocolate pecan tart.

Ate here last night as part of The Greek Theatre Dine and Ride program. The menu was terrific. The value of the program is really worth it. But our server Vel made it worth everything. She had a beautiful attitude that carried with us all evening. Thanks for keeping this iconic location alive and wll

I was in town for 24 hours. I was told by someone at my hotel to get a drink at Pubic house so I got a lyft there.... I got out of the car and immediately heard music coming from the Dresden. I had to go in and see what it was all about. As I walked into The Dresden... More

I chose to Dine and Ride rather than look for a restaurant and then deal with traffic getting to and from the Greek and so happy I did. We arrived for a friends night out of adult beverages, food and music. We arrived about 30 minutes before seating time and went straight into the bar where we sat and met... More

We love the Dresden. Love watching Marty and Elayne play, they are really a treat. The drinks in this place are the bomb, you get your moneys worth of liquor! Always a treat to listen to music and watch all the people

Dropped by here with some new friends and it was great to catch up over some fun music and drinks. Still has it's old school vibe and worth grabbing a drink.

Old school place, with excellent service. The music in the lounge is awesome. The perfect place to have a martini and an order of escargot. A good place to have a nice dinner or an evening cocktail. It's got it all!

The food was almost inedible. I ate about 10% of my meal. It was very obvious that there was something wrong with it. But the waiter never questioned it and just removed it. The other meals were moderately better. But not by much. No idea how this place has been around for do long. Their cuisine is definitely stuck in... More
