In town for business, I wore myself out on my only free day and stayed in the hotel for dinner. Noe exceeded my expectations and falls well above most downtown hotel restaurants. Joe behind the bar is super friendly and quick with a well-made Manhattan. I had the braised black cod for dinner with kale and tempura fried mushrooms. The... More

My wife and I came into town to enjoy DineLA, the beaches (lousy rain), and Universal Studios - she insisted on a lower-key spot, but I refused to listen, and for good reason. I previously visited the Noe in 2016 on business and took a liking to the service, wine selection, ambiance, and the view of the skyline -- and... More

I was staying at the Omni for a conference and went to the bar on my last night for drinks and appetizer. The bar had a great atmosphere, especially with the piano player! They had a great wine list and a good selection of food on the bar menu. I had the cheese platter - which I would highly recommend!... More

I can easily say that NOE is the best fine dining restaurant in all of Downtown Los Angeles. The food is perfect, tasty and plating is executed with perfection. Everything from the appetizers to the dessert was just perfect! The wine list was on point and having an amazing view made it a pleasure to dine.

We really enjoyed listening to Rick, the piano player at the Noe Bar in the Omni across from The Broad. Then we entered the restaurant for dinner. It is a good menu with choices to please everyone. We especially enjoyed the Caprese salad, rack of lamb and boullabaise. Service was responsive and friendly. After dinner, we returned to the bar... More

Dinner at the Noe was a good experience on a Thursday evening following a visit to The Broad Museum on the opposite side of Grant Avenue. The restaurant is attractive (although the entrance is not obvious, located at the far end of the bar). The service was professional and prompt. My wife had a fish entree and I had the... More

Had great fried shrimp as an appetizer. Had the steak filet and the barracuda, asparagus, mashed potatoes and sautéed mushrooms. I liked the mashed potatoes the most.

Stopped at Noe, the lobby bar at the Omni downtown LA. Just looking for a quick drink while waiting for business colleagues to meet before dinner. Unfortunately, I regretted sitting at the bar thinking the service was going to be quicker. I noticed that the service was better for folks sitting at the tables in the bar, since the waitress... Tired feet after travelling so went to the hotel restaurant. It was relaxed with a limited menu but enough choice. I had chicken on a bed of rice which was delicious. The blond had salmon and rice which was very tasty. We both had ice cream for desert. It was fine

Extensive menu, warm ambience, attentive service. The option is available to dine indoors or out, so depending on the weather the fresh air can be an enjoyable accompaniment to one's meal. The Butterscotch Pudding for dessert is recommended!

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
Downtown Los Angeles is a busy metropolis of towering buildings, bustling streets, and industrial warehouses. There is a distinct multiplicity of cultures here with a growing influx of business professionals and hipsters. Many call the evolution of Downtown over recent years gentrification. New lofts, bars, hotels and restaurants are popping up regularly. Downtown is home to some of the very best restaurants in the city leading the LA foodie scene, plus it is the location of cultural and sports venues including the Walt Disney Concert Hall, the Staples Center, and the Coliseum at the University of Southern California.
