The food was so delicious. We ordered the appetizer sampler for 4 and the assortment was great. The fried chicken Cuban style was so good I ordered it as an entree with a side of yellow ric. The rice was made to order full of flavor, not sitting in a pot! I tasted the entrees of my companions and everything... More

I'll start with the positive: the music is out of this world and the dancing is great! The service was also good. The food, however, leaves a lot to be desired. It is not good Cuban food - just a pale and imperfect interpretation of it. The decor is also not great: and it's not just that it bears no... More

El Floridita is pretty nondescript on the outside, but the interior is roomy and well-appointed. A friend of mine from L.A. via Miami and his son took me to an early dinner around 5 pm on a Saturday, and the place was empty. Smart move because from about sevenish to midnight El Floridita transforms into a popular supper club and... More

We went on a Tuesday at around 8 pm and the place had a table with 8 and a table with 3 people. Later 2 ladies came in. We had papas rellenas, ropa vieja & bistec empanizado. All was very good. We also had an order of mariquitas with mojo. For 3 with 2 drinks and 2 coffees the bill... More

My family ate here in April, we were a large group and ate early so had the place to ourselves, before the dancing began. The food was delicious, especially the pork dishes and the sampler appetizer plate. I enjoyed it all! Service was very good but again, we were the only diners because we basically got there when the place... More

I just had the weirdest experience at El Floridita. I used to live in South Florida and I'm very familiar with Cuban food. My favorite is the Cuban white bean soup, called Caldo Gallego. I looked at the menu and thought that everything looked fairly pricey, so I ordered Caldo Gallego and chicken empanadas. The Caldo Gallego was the worst... More

Heard a lot of good things about this place but left feeling very disappointed! The steak was impossible to chew and tough, service was slow so don't go if you are really hungry. On the upside the atmosphere was great, the drinks were strong, the band was great! However, between the 6 of us we spent $280 and it definitely... More

My family and I have been going to this restaurant for a long time. The food is always so very delicious. It's been under the same management this whole time. They are very welcoming and treat us like friends. I eat dinner here for graduations, holidays, and just because. The Cuba options remind me of my Dominican flavors. It's a... More

Every time the front door opened a cold draft hit us. The food was way way overpriced and the quality of the food not very good. I had two gin and tonics and they were well mixed with enough gin so I enjoyed the drinks. The Latin band was excellent to dance to.

We enjoyed watching the salsa dancers. Food was not for us. The meat was charred and after about three bites, that's all you could taste. Empanadas were awesome, though. I would try it again just to try something else on the menu.
