This restaurant is all the way at the end of the main strip of China Town but the wait of walking past numerous restaurants was worth it. The food was so tasty. I wish I could have taken some back with me on the plane. Will be returning next time I'm in China Town.

Ssssssshhhhhhhh!     I'm about to share with you one of my favorite watering hole and Best kept secret but promise me to keep it among ourselves.    I've discovered this place when I used to work in DTLA/downtown Los Angeles in the early eighties when it wasn't cool or hip yet to live and work in downtown. DT was more... More

This place has been around since I was a child. Hell, I even remember the host that sits you down. She's seen all my romantic endeavors come and go. She's seen all the people I've took there. The gentleman that charges you when you leave is another landmark. I've know him for as long as I've know her, 28 years.... More

A small restaurant, green tea served quickly as indeed our order appeared almost as fast. Unfortunately, the food was bland, chicken had much the same flavour as the pork, and the bok choy came with a glutinous but almost tasteless sauce. It was cheap by L A standards. No alcohol was served in this restaurant.

This restaurant is in Chinatown which was great so we could shop before and after we were stuffed. The food was delicious, fresh, hot and quickly served. As you are seated they serve you hot tea which was fun. My family of five ate; shrimp fried rice, chicken fried rice, chicken with string beans, orange chicken, spicy beef, shrimp vegetables... Great Food. Real Chinese. Parking is free with a validation (an hour). Restaurant is very small and very casual.

The food was absolutely delicious and full of flavour. The rice was light and fluffy and the other courses were simply divine. I would highly recommend Chinese friends for anyone looking for quality... More

I have been going to this Chinatown family owned restaurant since it opened its doors in 1973! The food is consistently fresh, flavorful, and inexpensive. The soups, fried noodle dishes, vegetables (try the assorted mushrooms), and service are all very good.

A real local place and the best House Special Shrimp dish. It is the best and you can see a plate of it on almost every diner's table! Have eaten there for over 30 years, and have never found any other restaurant whose shrimp dish comes close.....I now live 2 hours away, and if I get within 30 miles of... More

6.13.2015 Stopped by for a quick meal after attending Chinatown Pop-up Arts & Crafts show. Noted that most of the clientele were non-Asians and this is a Chinese restaurant. Service was prompt even though there was a line. Sautéed Bak-Choy with Chinese Mushrooms was decent. The house Special fried Noodles with diced Chicken and Beef was a let-down for the... More
