We were almost not going to make reservation because we didn't think it would be busy on a Thursday night but we were lucky we did because the restaurant was full when we walked in. My husband and I had the filet mignon satay, chicken curry and short rib noodles. All of the food were delicious. The satay was so... More

Not one thing ordered was not delicious. Crispy duck and the shrimp appetizer they serve in that special dish was awesome. Great service too.

We found this gem of a restaurant by asking Yelp for the best Thai restaurants in LA, and Si Laa was one of the best reviewed, and is within a reasonable distance from where we live. It's on a not well lit part Robertson Blvd just south of Pico and if you drive by you might miss it, but once... More

Hotel suggested we avoid the fast food Thai restaurant across the street and go to this fine dining restaurant. It did not disappoint in service, elegant atmosphere, food presentation, taste. We ordered several appetizers and dishes but later that night texted each other and said, great food, but still hungry. There are no misses on the menu - the hit?... More

Far more authentic (and I've been to Thailand many times) than other American Thai restaurants. Simple clean decor and friendly helpful staff. Great food. The crispy duck dish is as good duck as I have tasted. Also very much enjoyed the crab pad Thai. They have excellent small wine list. A five dollar Uber ride from an area of overpriced... More

We are in the sprawling city of LA which is the jumping off point for a short cruise. Earlier this year we met a young lady who lives in LA and is a fellow traveller who loves eating and visiting different countries. They choose Si Laa where we were bowled over by the staff's attentiveness and the can do attitude... More

In LA visiting our daughter and decided to try TA for a nearby Thai restaurant. We hit the jackpot with Si Laa! Everything was very delicious, staff was most attentive, and ambiance of the restaurant was great. Well worth the trip!

We started with two orders of the hand pleated potstickers. OMG they are amazing. There were just two of us so we only ordered one more. The flavours work in harmony with each other. The chilli oil is not to strong and enhances the chicken and scallions. Fantastic dish!!! The spicy crab noodle is beyond description. It is so full... More

This was probably my tenth time at Si Laa. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive and the food is always delicious. My favorites this time were Short Rib Green Curry, crispy whole bronzino and Hidden Treasures. Wonderful flavors. Like so many good LA restaurants, there are usually one or two entertainment celebrities there having a quiet meal without fanfare.... More

We have eaten here a number of times. It is a nice modern space that is easy to miss in the middle of a block. For a Thai restaurant the menu is limited. For instance, they serve Filet Mignon Satay, but not chicken satay. The food is very good. Service is very good. Check the menu before you to to... More
