The service, food, and atmosphere were all top-notch, and the convenience to Walt Disney Concert Hall and Music Center venues can't be beat. Our server, Jesús, was great. Best of all, the Gnocchi, which are definitely not what you would expect. Unlike most other Gnocchi I've had, which can be doughy and heavy, in a heavy cream sauce, these were... More

Wow, I just can't give a high enough rating to this excellent restaurant. Our server, Jesus, was exemplary from start to finish as well as the entire support staff. We shared several small plates that were delicious, but the stand our was the entree that we shared, house made gnocchi, so light, and so flavorful served with a sun-dried tomato... More

Had lunch here while touring the theater area. Such a lovely restaurant, we had a fun time. Professional service without being snooty. Interesting menu items and great food.

Not only is every item (especially the specials) delicious but the service is impeccable. Being overly conscious of when patrons need to be in their seats at the theater every staff member pays attention. Floating Island...the greatest dessert of all time...how often can you find it? Never. But here a specialty

Many evenings Kendall's is completely packed with LA opera fans. Wait times are long but the faithful are usually rewarded with amazing food and outstanding service. My visit was during a quiet, mid-week evening with little going on downtown. If you think the service is great during peak periods, you must visit Kendall's during slow times. Wow, what a difference... More

Quick summary: wide range of bistro food, very well prepared. Friendly, professional service. Very close to the Chandler Pavillion, Disney Performing Arts Center, the Broad, modern Art Museum. I had a delicious dinner here on a night that was getting a little chill. The spiced carrot soup was perhaps the best I've very had -- and I've had many as... More

We had 4 for brunch, and liked the choices and the wine list. Service was very nice. Location next to Disney Concert Hall is perfect.

Always enjoy the brunch and dinner at this great spot by the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion. Service is excellent (you will make the curtain) and the food is scrumptious! You must try the mashed Yams!!! Best ever. Cheese and bread is almost a meal in itself. Try the Saffron Risotto and any lamb dish. You will come back again!

The beauty of Kendall's is the proximity to the Music Center, the atmosphere, and the terrific service and food. The push all the buttons, and make sure you are out on time before your show,, without feeling rushed. There are dozens of fantastic restaurants in Los Angeles, but Kendall's is so much easier to deal with before a show; park... More

Downtown
Downtown Los Angeles is a busy metropolis of towering buildings, bustling streets, and industrial warehouses. There is a distinct multiplicity of cultures here with a growing influx of business professionals and hipsters. Many call the evolution of Downtown over recent years gentrification. New lofts, bars, hotels and restaurants are popping up regularly. Downtown is home to some of the very best restaurants in the city leading the LA foodie scene, plus it is the location of cultural and sports venues including the Walt Disney Concert Hall, the Staples Center, and the Coliseum at the University of Southern California.
