I'm still adjusting to the slightly shabby chic of LA- a place that looks well past its prime form the outside might have world class food- here is an example- looks like a diner out of a movie- and is used for filming I understand- but what you get inside is modern, fresh, delicious food with a nod to old... Since our hotel did not serve breakfast, we decided to try Cindy's which was nearby. This is a cute little diner with excellent food and service. We were seated in a small booth and they have bar-style seating as well. I had the Mediterranean Scramble with whole wheat toast. The eggs and potatoes were delicious and the toast was locally... While visiting Los Angeles the family met at Cindy's Eagle Rock for lunch. This is a popular place and the prices are reasonable. The food and service were very good. I had the BBQ Burger, which was prepared to my taste. This is a nice place and it is worth the wait.

Was closed for 6 months, but now open again. Need to correct hours - stays open for dinner. Shrimp and grits is still great!

This was our weekend brunch place years ago. But we eventually moved from the area and it dropped off the rotation. A few years back we started coming back when we heard there was a *new* Cindy's. We weren't so impressed with that visit, but not turned off either. So we pop in every once in a while when the... More

This restaurant was recommended to me by a family member. We went for what we thought would be an early dinner about 4:30. The menu had breakfast items, sandwiches, burgers and dinner items. I tried to order the meat loaf plate and was advised that it wasn't ready. Then I tried to order the blackened catfish. I was told that... More

My favorite here is breakfast on the weekdays, when it's not super busy and I can sit with my laptop and get some work done. It's an upgraded diner, and the food is inventive and well presented. I also enjoy their dinner salads and their meatballs are phenomenal.

Very diverse menu - it took awhile to decide what to order. Breakfast items were great, sandwiches, too! French Fries were excellent. Everything was very fresh which is most appreciated. Of note, parking in front of Cindy's is limited as is seating inside. However, I'd return again!
