I admit I had high expectations. After all the hype I guess it's to be expected. I felt I was in Hipster Central Casting. To be fair the pastry was good but the coffee was burnt and here it should Never be burnt. It should be perfect. And it wasn't even close.

Phew they knew what I meant and so delivered. Complete with suitable cup and small sugars and cute spoon. Plus heaps of cool places to sit in sun, shade inside. Food seems to be baked stuff (not tried). New everyday place for me .

Delicious coffee (and they even sell it in bags to go!), pay a premium for the hipster vibe for sure.

The coffee is o.k. But, seriously - $6.00 for a small coffee? And then, you have to wait 10 minutes to get it. Seating is inadequate and, if you have a laptop, outlets are nonexistent. This is one of those places where people hang out to see and presumably be seen. I suppose... Do yourself a favor by either visiting... More

The coffee here is great. I will admit that. The waiting in line and general efficiency of processing of customers drives me crazy. The coffee is excellent but the atmosphere, crowd, vibe and everything else makes me avoid the place.

A great place if you stay in Silverlake, beautiful, full of love and neat cool stuff, from brewing pots to the merch that is offered.

They make a great hot chai with almond milk. It's not homemade, however it's still very good. Parking is very challenging so go early or pay for parking in the back.

Iced chai tea. Just try it. Quite expensive, wouldn't make it a regular spot if I lived there - but really nice as a treat, great decor- and apparently a good place to spot celebs!

Classic LA hang out. You'll overhear folks talking about animation, films, scripts, acting, and mostly everyone sitting online with their laptops. Outside seating looks the most comfy. Each cup of coffee individually brewed. Great service.

We were staying locally whilst on holiday and had been told we had to go here. Every day the queue was huge so wondered whether it was worth it but after waiting out turn the coffees we had (flat white and soya latte) really were full of flavour and worth the wait. Also a nice place to hang out in... More
