This is one of the sushi restaurants that's been around for years. Its traditional, located in the Little Tokyo mall and can be crowded, especially on the weekends. One thing I don't like though is it smells like an old sushi restaurant.

One of the best sushi in LA! Great value! Always great and fast service! Nice menu, fresh & delicious fish and drinks! Wish they had more space, so we won't need to wait for a large party table:) Always happy to come back!

Have been there several times whenever I'm in LA and never disappointed! If you're a sashimi or sushi lover, just go! I've tried many Japanese restaurants all over the world and this is one of the few restaurants I'll recommend to others. ;)

Very traditional sushi selection. I enjoyed the spicy tuna and spider rolls. The atmosphere was pleasant and traditional and the chef is extremely fast with completing your meal. I highly recommend Komasa.

The best sushi in LA. I have been coming here for years and the quality of the food and of the service has not changed. Run by a husband and wife team along with some family members. They have the freshest fish and the best prices.

I thought the sushi here was great, and a great value! I'm pretty picky about my Japanese food, but really liked this place. Best of all, the prices are really reasonable, its fantastic value for your money. The service is also very fast. Will be back. :)

We all have our favorite places and definitely our favorite Japanese restaurants. I have a few favorite but Komasa holds the top rank as my go-to-feels-like-home-place. Beware and be there early as all great places deserves a wait. Nothing fancy here, no branches in London or Tokyo or New York. Just the one on 2nd St. Very few tables and... More

My friend and I chose this sushi restaurant based on reviews on the high quality and reasonable pricing. That's exactly what we found! This is some of the VERY BEST sushi I've ever had! The fish pieces were much creamier than I've ever experienced -I believe that's due to the freshness and the way the chef massages the fish. I... More

I selected this restaurant based on other reviews and that I saw some mentions online that this was one of the best sushi restaurants in LA.  It was very good but I hope it can't be the  best in LA.  I had the 16pc combo and all the pieces were different which was great.  I just felt some of the...
