It's a joint, but a good one. Great and friendly staff. Funky decor. Fairly typical beach front cuisine. Calamari was good, but a little heavily breaded. Shrimp scampi also ok, although I was not wild about the bell peppers, I would prefer a more traditional garlic butter treatment. A nice view across the Pacific Coast Highway of the stormy Pacific.... More

Very down home seafood joint right across from the beach, Fresh fish & the usual sides, but dining is picnic bench group seating indoors.

Very casual place with great fish. This is a walk up order counter place. You choose your fish and add a choice of veggies, slaw, potatoes, rice or salad. The fish is very fresh and they have a solid choice or beers. come in your bathing suit right from the beach!

All and any type of seafood including wild caught fish, shellfish and crustaceans done any way you want. The halibut and swordfish were well done and the clams and mussels were a treat! And best... We happened upon the Reel Inn when driving thru Malibu. It was perfect. Counter service, really good food and a very pleasant, classic atmosphere. So many restaurants in Malibu are programmed to feel expensive and important yet this one is super for a family that wants to eat well and still have money to send the kids to college! We... More

This is a place to go if you just want a quick meal in a relaxed setting. We had the fish and chips. This fish was good, the chips were cold, but they were replace. The replaced chips were just OK.

Quaint roadside restaurant offers informal, fun ambiance (picnic tables, self-service, seating inside and out) and great food. (Fish tacos are a treat.)
