View is gorgeous! Feet in the sand, best coconut drink ever! Idk what kind of coconut cream or whatever it is they use but it’s delicious. Top 5 drinks ever! Staff was wonderful. Food was ehh, but everything else was lovely.

I really enjoyed my chicken tacos. My kid got the chicken tender kid meal and it was very good! Best fries! Not sure what they put on them but they are delicious! Husband had 1 fish taco, 1 shrimp taco and 1 shredded beef taco!...He said the beef taco was the best out of the 3 and he normally really likes fish tacos!More
Stay far away. Awful service, expensive, terrible food and the parking is ridiculously priced. There are many, many other places to enjoy in the area.
Awful…..just awful. The fish and chips was made with tilapia which smelled and wasn’t even worth eating or taking home. The portions are large but that does not make up for poor quality of food. Told our waiter and he was not concerned one bit...and did not offer me another meal. Way too expensive for terrible food.More
Not sure if I can adequately review this place simply due to lack of time spent there. Also would need to get a little into the history and background of the complex. This is more than just a restaurant. There is a fishing pier, private...beach and parking along with the restaurant. Probably one of, if not the most exclusive, parts of Malibu. If you chose to just do the beach or go fishing it will run you $65, just to park. If you go to the restaurant they "validate" four hours parking (including the time in the restaurant). Restaurant pricing is similar to parking fees - not cheap. A bottle of beer and an order of Calamari (to go) was $41.46 before tip. Admittedly, the calamari could have fed an army but it was a lot of cash. Very relaxing area to simply hang out. You could probably spend a couple days reading photo captions and looking at the extensive memorabilia in the place.More
The food at this place is extremely disappointing, lacking any taste or flavor. Additionally, the service is very poor. Every dish we ordered was bland and lacked any distinct flavor. It is also important to be cautious with the bill as they attempted to include...items we did not order.More
The beach location is the only thing good about this place. It's outrageously overpriced and the clam chowder comes WITH THE CRACKERS ALREADY IN IT! UGH! gross. The service was scattered and uninterested. The paying for parking literally right outside the door is insulting especially...with the high prices on the menu.More
Excellent place to have breakfast The prices super decent compared to other places of Malibu Great service . The food super good .
The scenery is gorgeous. The outside dining area is immaculate. The food is great with large portions. It is extremely expensive however. I assume this is to be expected in Malibu but I was a bit surprised by the expense.
Go 49ers! We were in our fall attire with our favorite team jerseys! Paradise Cove Beach Cafe is a classic and historical beachfront restaurant in Malibu, California. It's known for its scenic oceanfront location, making it a popular spot for visitors looking to enjoy both...the beach and delicious dining. Guests can dine on a variety of dishes while taking in breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean. They have beach access and if someone eats at the restaurant then they have reduced valet fees for up to four hours. They have exotic drinks 🍹 menu and food cones in large portions. Enjoy great food with the view!More
A beautiful cove turned into a money making venture. The tables are right on the beach and the view is idyllic, but the vibe is very tacky and cheap. It all feels very tightly monitored so that you can’t get onto the actual beach and...nobody on the beach can get to you. A menu screaming at you in bright colours and ridiculously bright prices, but nothing that was particularly tempting. My milkshake was thick whipped ice cream, sugar and fake cream that couldn’t be persuaded to make it through the straw. The higher level wait staff stood around chatting with each other finding it difficult to summon a smile, while the servers rushed around and managed an occasional tip-related smile. Only the pigeons and seagulls showed any enthusiasm, swooping in on the leftovers. All-in-all I wish we hadn’t bothered.More
Beautiful location, amazing to sit next to the ocean, eat greasy fried foot and wiggle your toes in the sand. During a friends visit from Canada, it felt like the perfect place to give him the pure (1950's) California experience. VERY VERY Disappointed. The Seagulls...and Pigeons make the environment barely tolerable. We literally had to cover our food with Napkins to avoid seagulls dive-bombing our table. We saw this happen not once but twice to other guests. SUCH AN EASY FIX....Get a bird abatement company out there...and solve your problem. (Wire grid above the tables would be a start) The cost of a lite lunch and 2 cocktails came to the grand total price of over 150.00 This cost PLUS the 15 dollars for Parking add up to an expensive lunch. You may be able to justify these costs as you are obtaining private access to a little corner of "Paradise" in Malibu Beach...but having to fight wildlife to be able to eat food which is mediocre at best is just unacceptable. Our server who was new herself, commiserated on this HUGE problem and that management does nothing. (Apparently there use to an OWL Lady who would walk around with a life OWL to keep the seagulls away, and would charge for pictures with the Harry Potter creature as a side hustle. Well, no more OWL Lady, and the SEAGULLS makes you feel like you are re-enacting a scene from Alfred Hitchcocks "THE BIRDS". Save your money and pay the exorbitant 40-60dollar (non validation cost) for a day of parking and just use the beach and pack a sandwich. All the vibe for much less dinero.More
I struggle to understand why going for a drink in the US is so stressful, it took us 1 hour start to finish to have one glass of Prosecco. Firstly we had to wait 10 minute for a table despite there being plenty outside (a...lot of waiters doing sweet f a - mostly gathered around the front avoiding doing any work) then it took the waiter several attempts to get our order correct, added with a 20 minute wait for our drinks to come we are now up to 35 minutes. When the bill eventually came and the waiter stood over me to see how much his tip would be (clearly not enough in his book) I clicked the thumbs down key when rating my experience to which I was then berated in terrible English as to why this was so. Honestly we just wanted to go somewhere for a quiet drink and maybe some food but as there is only one restaurant there I guess they can afford to deliver something truly awful as there is nowhere else to go.More
Eating bland food inside a pigeon and seagull cage. That is all this is. Oh, but you are paying insane prices for the ok ocean view.
At the bar I am told I can't have a glass of wine "we don't do glasses of wine only half or full bottles". Never have I heard that before! I order a Corona $10. I am then told I have to wait at the...bar until my table is available. Luckily there were two bar stools. I grabbed one. Twenty minutes later my table is ready. I am asked to follow the server and taken outside, around the building and given a table in a horrid spot away from all the sun and fun directly at the opposite end of the property where 90% of the people are. Then I almost fall off my seat. The prices on the menu are insane. I order a avocado wrap $30 as they don't cater at all for vegans. Taste? It was okay but not worth that money. All in the wrap and beer cost $50 including a tip. If it wasn't for Abby the waitress being so kind and helpful I would have walked out without ordering food. Parking is expensive without a validated parking ticket. I paid a $10 fee as I had spent a required amount in the restaurant.More
