This a lively sprawling restaurant on Washington Blvd. It serves all the traditional Mexican dishes along with a large selection of Margarita's. Good size portions, good flavours and reasonable price.

Been here twice, once for lunch and once for dinner. The food was good but not mind-blowing. Have a margarita with your food, they taste amaziing. Staff isn't too friendly, but not rude either. Except for the margaritas, which are great, it's pretty mediocre. Not bad at all, but there are probably better places. Oh, and go sit outside, it's... More

Went there with a couple of friends and we definitely enjoyed the drinks, the service and the food. We ordered different margaritas (regular, heat, watermelon) and when my friends did not like the heat (too much habanero) nor the watermelon (too sweet). So in the end we all got the regular at no additional cost. Thank you. Chips and salsa... More

I inevitably end up at this restaurant whenever I go to LA because it's located directly next to my hotel and open late. About the best thing I can say about it is that's really convenient. Food and drinks are mediocre at best. There's much better Mexican food close by.

After a long stroll through Venice beach and the canals we stopped here for food and drinks. Great atmosphere on one of the (multiple) patios. Food was delicious and quick. The nachos they serve when you arrive we're warm and exactly what you want from a great Mexican restaurant.

Stopped here for lunch today. Didn't really know much about Mexican food so thought we'd give it a whirl. Well, we were pleasantly surprised. Food was fresh and delicious - staff were friendly and attentive and the ambiance was great. We sat in the terrace area which was lovely - it did help that the sun was shining after the... More

Staying in Venice

Neighbourhood Profile
Venice
Venice has always danced to its own beat as the epicenter of bohemian culture in Los Angeles. Along the boardwalk there are street performers and local craftsmen selling their wares. Original paintings, souvenirs, and jewelry are on display. Crowds of visitors marvel at the sites while weightlifting enthusiasts pump iron in plain view, and skateboarders do their tricks around the skate park. All of it happens under the warm California sun with sprawling views of sand and sea. Heading east, the main drags of Abbot Kinney Boulevard and Main Street are lined with boutique shops, some major retail stores, art galleries and restaurants. Here the ambiance is more relaxed and upscale than the frenetic boardwalk area. Venice is a mostly walkable (and certainly bikeable) neighborhood, full of areas to explore.
