Food and service were great. I appreciated the option to use local farm eggs. The omelets were well made and the homemade biscuits were fantastic.

Local cafe in Mariposa. Read the reviews and decided to give it a shot. This place checked all the boxes. Cleanliness, check. Atmosphere, check. Friendly attentive staff, check. Food quality and taste, double check. I can’t think of anything they could’ve done to improve today’s...experience. This may sound goofy but we sat at the bar and watched the cook hustle the food. We didn’t get his name but he was very good at what he did. Mariposa is a very cool place and everyone we’ve met so far was friendly and genuine so our experience at Sugar Pine shouldn’t have come as a surprise. At a time when restaurant service is lacking this place was a throwback to pre pandemic service. Highly recommended.More

The food and service in this little cafe are amazing. We had the best breakfast I've had in years! I had the chicken fried steak and my wife had bacon and eggs. She was absolutely amazed to see coddled eggs cooked just the way she...liked it. Every aspect of the meal was outstanding.Justin and Sarah did everything they could to make our meal great. They treated tourists and locals the same and made everyone feel welcome. They also have a nice selection of homemade baked items and freshly prepared fruit cups if you need something to take with you. Thank you for everything!!!More

Peets coffee and delicious simple breakfast at reasonable prices! I had the omelette and my girlfriend had the French toast. Hashbrowns and sourdough toast were delicious and portions were large.

Very friendly guy running the place smoothly - I think he's the owner. I had scrambled eggs (fine) with good chicken/apple sausage (three big sausages) and excellent hash browns, really crispy! And very good sourdough toast.

We had a wonderful breakfast here. The omelet was delicious and the pancakes were so big and fluffy. The service was great and we enjoyed chatting with the owner.

Hubby and I were in town for a few days and we were going to eat local as much as we could. We ended up eating here twice! The food was really good and the service was friendly both times we visited. The biscuits are...really good. They have indoor and outdoor seating (if you travel with a dog like us!) I highly recommend giving them a chance to impress you themselves.More

The biscuits and gravy are delicious, I eat here as often as I can. My husband loves the chicken fried steak and sausage gravy. My children love the eggs any style and pancakes.

I love to sit at the counter, drink coffee, and watch the master short order cook. Everything is good, especially the daily specials.

Stopped in the super cute town of Mariposa on our way to San Francisco after a spending a few days at Yosemite. We were hungry for breakfast and stopped at this little cafe we found online since it had a few tables outside (due to...Covid). The outdoor seating was nothing special but the food and service was great. We were happy to find somewhere that was open and allowed us to eat outdoors. My niece raved about her breakfast burrito and the rest of us in our party of 4 were very happy with our meals. The biscuits along with many of the baked goods offered on the menu are made in house. I would definitely return if I had the opportunity.More
