Didn't have a reservation, but arrived early. I would recommend one in the future, just because the place is very small. Great service, we had Lemon Chicken and a Chicken Ceasar salad, hit Delish garlic bread and French onion soup. We were seated immediately and food was fast, fresh and hot. Great Restaurant!!

Great food, good service, busy restaurant. Had no booking and despite being very busy that night they have found a table for us. Would recommend.

We stopped on our way out from a day trip to Yosemite. Nice little village with several dinner options; we picked the top choice from Trip Advisor. Good menu selection, nice staff. We had the Cordon Bleu (okay), Half rack of ribs (very good), and Charles St burger (really good). The Butterfly Creek cab (local) was fair. A little pricey... More

The best part of our experience was the service with several staff attending to us, giving the place a nice friendly and cosy feel. The food was very good but in our opinion our selections from their specials were overpriced.

I had the rack of lamb one night, my wife the salmon, and other menu items. Excellent and perfectly cooked by the chef. Well worth the price as the ambiance was quiet and reserved but very friendly and small town joyful.

This restaurant is highly recommended by local hotels but falls short with dated decor and tight tables. We were left standing at the Hostess podium for several minutes without any greeting or even eye contact as the Hostess answered phones and ran from table to table explaining the nightly specials. The food was good but was overshadowed by the worn... More

Like an earlier poster, hotel recommended and gave me a card for free glass of wine. I think that is why many people show up here. I saw numerous diners with same. The hostess finding a table with no reservation comes at a price. She actually asked us someone was waiting for our table when we had barely finished desert... More

We just finished dinner at this cute restaurant in the charming town of Mariposa. The hostess took her job seriously and swept us to our table. We realized we should have made reservations but had arrived early so we were seated right away. Both my husband and I had the prime rib , one of the nightly specials, which was... More

Recommend by TripAdvisor so went in with at least some expectations. Great staff, good food and fun setting makes this the perfect dinner option if you are visiting Mariposa!
