Busy but worth the wait for a table. The food is simple but well seasoned and fresh. Plan on having some time set aside to dine in house.

I've dined and had drinks at Barrone for over 10 times in the past 3 months, since I moved to Menlo Park. Their coffess cups are much smaller than Starbucks or Peet's and cost less, but taste better. Barrone also serves wine and beer. You place order at the 2 cashiers and wait for your drink, but they'll bring your... More

We have been going to Cafe Borrone for more than 20 years, more so for the setting than for the food. The terrace the cafe boast is just so pleasant. The food is ok, nothing really to write home about, the veggie melt has been our favorite there for years. A great haunt for a glass of wine, a cup... More

I come here for breakfast or lunch every time we're in the area (every other month or so). The food is always amazing, fresh, creative flavors and just delicious. I've found the staff to be genuine, kind and concerned about their customers. Make sure you get there before the lunch rush though, because then the line stretches far out the... More

Three of us had an enjoyable and delicious lunch at Cafe Borrone. There were available tables both outside and indoors but it was a bit chilly so we opted for inside. There was a long line waiting to order but before long, we were in the front of the line. There were two cashiers and behind them, all of the... More

I just had an espresso at Café Borrone, but it was definitely worth the long queue - it was the very best espresso I had in California!

Borrone's serves up some of the best small plates for breakfast and lunch! The cafe is large with spacious indoor and outdoor seating, a street-side hot spot that feels removed from the rest of the bustling world! I'd recommend stopping in on a Saturday or Sunday morning with a friend or significant other... it's a great spot for a meaningful... More

This is almost a cult place. People love it. The lines on weekends are long. The food is ok, but not notabale.

I thought my buttermilk pancakes were truly superb... ultra light and delicate. The berries on top were all perfect as well. Atmosphere is bustling. Service is efficient and friendly. Great experience all around.
