We enjoyed our dinner. The halibut and the sand dab was very good. Everything was good, excellent service, good wine, Nothing disappointed, But nothing particularly memorable. The service was excellent.

The food and service at The Sardine Factory is always solid, and the Thursday night my wife and I visited was no exception. What was unusual was the issues we had with their legendary wine list. I went straight to local Pinot Noir page, which...More

A fine place for a memorable dinner. Very elegant atmosphere and wonderful attention from the waiters and their assistants. Wine sommelier good but too chatty. Food was on the incredible scale, with ahi tuna, lobster ravioli and calamari steak. Great desserts as well. We're coming...More

We love the old school ambiance of this restaurant. I.e. Was car week -crazy busy Friday night. We had reservations and had requested the conservatory - which was accommodated. The sommelier suggested a champagne which was wonderful. I started with the abalone bisque which was...More

Fun place to dine in one of the 3 distinctive rooms. There is even a "wine Cellar" room that seats 10. Large menu with something for everyone. Great wine list. Enjoy coming here every year when we visit Monterey.

In the end, good food and nice service: we were warmly welcomed despite our late arrival for dinner (about 21.30). Good burgers.

Celebrated anniversary meal here in August 2017, wine selection is outstanding and DEEP, while reasonably priced vs. typical restaurant retail. The service is white glove, ambiance exceptional (cornflower blue room with a cozy fireplace). Started with a caesar, which was below average. This town makes...More

We live in this area. Sad to say California has gone way casual in the last ten years. I would avoid the standard tech uniform of blue jeans and t shirt. Have the boys wear slacks and regular shirt and you will not feel out... More
