Looked forward to the fish and chips based on TA reviews. Threw 1/2 away. 5 thick deep fried pcs of fish that were like chewing rubber, Good portion of skinny fries. Kid at the window was bored and not an asset to this place. Yet to find GOOD food in Morro Bay.

We came here after a very long drive, we were tired and hungry. I ordered the clam chowder in the sourdough bread bowl and my husband ordered the fried calamarie and squid plate. The guy who took my order was super friendly, I wish I got his name. The chowder was good but had an overwhelming element in it, like... More

Absolute waste of money. Paid $7 for the tiniest and worst excuse for Shrimp Cocktail. MINI and pre frozen shrimp that wasn't even thawed all the way. Half the cup was celery and not even shrimp! Just a tourist trap for those walking along the Embarcadero. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere.

Good service, great food. Nicely situated on the bay. Plenty of seats available. Watch for the seagulls.

Love the fish and chips and eating outside. Service can be slow and staff is not friendly AT ALL, but it's more of a self serve place so not that big a deal.

I am reviewing Lil Hut, not the Main Hut. Haven't been to Lil Hut? Then you haven't been to Morro Bay! I exaggerate . . . or do I? The food, although not fine dining, is better than fast food. Lil Hut has a good thing going on. The food is a bit more expensive than one might expect. I... More

Their fish and chips, shrimp, clam chowder...AMAZING! The price is somewhat ok...be best if they lower it a little bit.

Casual dining, outdoor seating but sheltered. Good clam chowder bread bowl and crab cake sandwich (which they call the crabby patty :)). Reasonably priced.

For 3 adults we ordered 2 full fish and chip dinners and still had leftovers. Fish was freshly cooked and the fries excellent. The young lady who helped at the window was friendly, efficient and just plain nice! Highly recommend you phone your order in (I did) for outstanding service. In the summer it can get very busy so plan... More
