I have driven by this restaurant for several years and never ate here. Tonight we decided to try this out....NEVER again. I had a carnita tosada....worse I have ever had. did not even eat it, very bland, no flavor. When I told the waiter, he...More

Over the years I've passed this place (the landing and the restaurant) many times on the way to or from the SF Bay/Monterey & Carmel but never thought to stop. Last night we finally landed to a wonderful warm welcome, a delightful hidden gem of...More

On a road trip along the coast, we happened upon this gem of a restaurant in Moss Landing. I have no patience with the standard Mexican Food combo plate, but you won't see any of that at The Whole Enchilada! We enjoyed a Mexican Seafood...More

This place is a true hidden gem! It's actually a wonderful Mexican restaurant tucked away off Highway 1 before you get to Monterey. The food is excellent but it's the Clam Chowder that really sets this place apart. The atmosphere here is awesome even though...More

With this specific experience, I wish there was a three and a half stars options. This is definitely a more upscale take on Tex Mex food, and the dishes were great (!) but the service was really disappointing. Still - just taste wise - recommended.

The food is alright, on average it's very salty. The employees are top notch though, so that's really why we keep going back.

I popped in for a drink before taking the bus back to Monterey and the people there were delightful. Very friendly with a strong sense of community there.

I frequent this restaurant as a local. Very poor service - slow, slow, slow for 2pm on a Sunday afternoon. Not overwhelming busy and took so long for our food to come. Just ordered (2) 2 item combination plates and later found out when I...More

Yes, as with any bar, buyer beware, know what you're ordering and how much you will be spending...Buy Responsively and Drink as if this is your last one...but never, never, never drink and drive!!!!
