We rode from Beaumont on a beautiful Sunday afternoon. It was packed when we arrived but quickly cleared out and we had a wonderful table outside on the patio. Service was great and our water glasses stayed replenished during our visit. I had the Route 66 burger and my husband had the Gus Burger! Amazing burgers cooked to perfection. We... More

We stopped on a Saturday morning on our way to Temecula. We sat at the counter. Found the waitresses were wonderful. The food was very good and the portions large. If we ever pass again we will stop:)

Stopped for lunch on our way from Palm Springs to San Diego- excellent food and service-has a quesadilla. Hikers from all over- heard the word"like" like a million times! Fun stop! Saw some military on an expedition.

Convenient and patio dinning. Quite ample portions. Shared club sand which plated for each of us. Excellent French fries. Split pea soup thick and hearty. Service was fine for a busy patio restaurant.

WOW! Stopped for lunch on the way from San Diego to Palm Desert. Besides being perfectly located at the intersection of 74 and 371, this little gem is a perfect stop for a meal. The Gus Burger, named after a local, who happened to be at the restaurant at the time, was AMAZING! A huge burger on Texas toast. The... More

Out of the way place with excellent food. On the way to Palm Springs or Anza or Idyllwild, on the Palms to Pines highway. Has plenty of parking even for big motor homes with nice outside dining and also inside when the weather isn't co-operating. Have had the burgers but all the plates looked good, bring your appetite as there... More

Had a great breakfast here. The ham steak was HUGE!! 2 of us ate from it and still didn't finish it. Delicious and very friendly service! The fluffiest biscuits I've ever had.

We set off early from Rancho Mirage to drive up spectacular route 74, intent on having breakfast here. And what a fantastic breakfast it was -- huge portions and great ambiance. The breakfast burrito seemed nearly as big as a football, studded with bacon, hash browns and scrambled eggs. The 1/2# Angus patty comes with a giant portion of eggs... More
