We didn't eat. Didn't drink. The setting was just a nice place to relax. Very reminiscent of an English inn. Great place for photos and I am sure the food is worth the while.

We found this delightful spot more by accident than intent, due to the highway being closed. It is delightful, actually feels like a real English pub & a lovely spot to sit for lunch and wile away a few hours. We had a lovely lunch with a pint each and while it wasn't cheap, it was very pleasant. The last... More

Buffet ok. Food ok. The service... not ok. Our server wasn't even busy but seemed bothered to be waiting on us.

This is the most interesting in I have ever seen. Make sure you ask for the history book to read while you are there. The place is made from reclaimed first growth redwood, the bar is amazing, it's a must for Bay area visitors...

The atmosphere of this old pub is what you need to go to the pelican for. And maybe the ale. The food was average and expensive. Muir beach is just a short walk down the road.

We stopped in here after a winter walk along the beach and building a few sandcastles with a 2 year old. We chose to eat in the bar as it was a Sunday and the restaurant had a carvery instead of a la carte. The food was good - fish and chips and beef stew and a sandwich for the... More

A must visit when in Muir Beach. Had Sunday Brunch and was very nice, and fine beer selection. Atmosphere is super, sat out back on covered/heated patio.

A luncheon visit to the Pelican Inn is something everyone should carve time for into their day in the Muir Beach area. The old world feel and decor of this place is a perfect match for your day at the beach. The food is a bit spendy so don't go famished though unless you want to take part in the... More

Loved the atmosphere of The Pelican Inn, casual and cozy and a great place to bring your dog or stop post hike or bike ride

We had a light lunch here .. Whole ambience was of a Uk pub that had got a bit left behind .. and being offered beers I can buy at home was really weird. Pelican ale went down well .. but the ploughmans was nothing like a Uk ploughmans .. not enough cheese, no pickled onion ( despite the menu... More
