Fish Story has been closed for months now. The space is currently being remodeled for something new. There are no other details despite Trip Advisor's need for a minimum number of words.
Our food was horrible. Inedible. I was heartbroken because we went for a special occasion. So sad. I was tempted to not pay the bill as I sent back my food twice. I will never eat there again.
Fish Story sits right along the river, we sat outside in the patio and enjoyed the 4th of July festivities. The location is great, if you are staying in downtown Napa, it's a nice walk. The restaurant seemed intimidating in size, very large and grand....More
Never had a meal I could enjoy. They have a prime location in downtown Napa, but their food was awful. They will reopen with a new menu and new concept I understand.
Travelers will find the building, but not the restaurant. It is closed for an unknown reason. The service was pretty bad and food marginal.
We made the mistake of ordering from the food and wine pairing menu. It was way too much food and pricey. However, the service was good, and we shared our meal with the table next to us!
The owners of Fish Story decided that fish is a tough sell in the Napa Valley, so Fish Story is closed. They say that they'll be back with a new concept in Spring..
