We recently visited Rockin' Baja and it is definitely worth a mention. Here is why: The buckets are great! We ordered several Buckets and we were pleased with our order. The buckets come with lobster, shrimp, crab, steak, chicken, tortillas, rice, and beans. Not kidding! The food was delicious and the service was nice. We had a large group and... More

Came to visit family in Cali a few years back and now every time we come back to Cali it's a must to have a bucket or two. Great seafood and a nice and friendly staff.

They have a nice happy hour from 3-6 Mon- Fri and Mon -Sun 9- close I had the tequila lime shrimp appetizer and it was really good. Portion size is appetizer, and flavor 100%. Drinks were strong and yummy.

This restaurant seemed OK from the outside, but immediately disappointed when we entered. Service got better once the waitress got rid of her chewing gum. The food was plentiful but poor Mexican food, which in our opinion is vastly overrated anyway. Prices were reasonable,no atmosphere. We were glad to get out. Michael,Nottingham

I had never been to the Newport Beach pier and decided to take a look....beautiful! I spent way to much time trying to find free parking...forget it! Just pay and park close. The pier is nice, but there are no restaurants on the pier itself. I was looking for a cheap seafood restaurant that wouldn't break the bank, and I... More

We visited on a Sunday night around 7:45 pm. We waited for 20 minutes for a table, which isn't bad, but the restaurant was not full. Once seated we were reminded by words and actions that they would be closing soon. They were removing things from our table, and when we received a wrong order we heard the server complain... More

The restuarant itself has a good feel and captures the eye. The service was below average compared to other service we have recieved whilst traveling in the USA. We were charged 18% Gratuity for a family of 6. First restaurant of many that we visited charged us this! My wife ordered the lobster tails and couldn't eat them all so... More

Stopped over at Newport Beach during lunch time on our Highway 1 adventure. LOVED the original "Big Baja Bucket", tomato based lobster corn chowder and fried ice-cream. The seafood, chicken and beef was beautifully seasoned and a must visit for first timers visiting Newport Beach.
