Got an order to go to take to the beach. Nice clean interior, friendly service and quality, fresh Thai food.

There's nothing like good Thai food and this place does it right. First of all, who doesn't love coconut water served in the coconut it came in? We enjoyed the chicken Thai fried rice and the chicken pad see-ew and they were both delicious. If you're in the area, it's a quaint restaurant with great service and delicious food. Stop... More

We were pleased to find this great Thai restaurant in Newport Beach. The food presented was fresh and flavourful. The services was polite and prompt. We ordered two dishes and were very pleased with the eggplant dish. Unfortunately, we could not say the same for the curry dish. The curry was tasty, but there was hardly anything in our serving... We went on a Sunday night and, even though this was suppose to be their slow night, it was very busy. Luckily we were able to find a seat. Server recommended Hohmuk Talay for my husband ( he ate all of it scraping the coconut shells it is serve in! I had Crazy Cashew Chicken. I ordered it Mike, because... More

After the Harbor light cruise we decided to try the Mint Leaf Thai Cuisine. The food was excellent. The service was very good. I ordered a dish that came in a coconut shell- it was excellent.

I was in Newport Beach for the Boat Parade. It was absolutely packed with people and we didn't get into one of the big name restaurants that we thought would be fun with great food. Since the 4 of us love Thai food we thought we would just settle and go to Mint Leaf Thai Cuisine. As we walked and... More

Visited Mint Leaf with some friends on a week night in January. We ordered a variety of dishes to share among us, and it was all very good. The orange chicken and the BBQ beef were outstanding! Service was fast and friendly, premises were nice and clean, and the location great! Highly recommended - I will definitely be back.

Very, very packed for a brief time at dinner...but then empties out and you can enjoy really fantastic Thai food. Seasoning is dead on but not particularly hot. Green curry is delightful. As is garlic shrimp. Yum! Buy beer and wine from the liquor store a block down as they have no liquor license--no corkage fee

Very good food, freshly made and have unique cooking. We were alone in the restaurant but the waiters forgot two dishes we ordered and then gave us a wrong information about some of them. As we had to eat in separate times due to her mistake, we assumed we will get some compensation - we were wrong. So... the food... More

We were there for dinner on a Saturday night during the holiday season. A large party of drunken ugly sweater party attendees dropped in that made the event at least more interesting (albeit noisy). One woman in a mini, fishnets and boots fell off her chair holding a baby which was hilarious. The baby (maybe 15 months old) belonged to... More
