Try anything with their sausage, actually anything we have tried has been delicious. Pizza, stuffed peppers, pastas, super antipasti... it is quirky to find, make a reservation, carpool because parking is contained.

We ordered Shrimp Lemone and Chicken Parmesan. As an appetizer we had the cheese bread. The waitress, India, recommended that we try the tapenade and parmesan on the bread (that are provided at the table). The parmesan is fresh grated and the tapenade is a nice compliment. Minestrone was served prior to the meal. It was also outstanding. The number... More

We really loved this place. The menu is extensive. There is a cold case right in front in case you want sausage or other uncooked delicacies to go. The restaurant is decorated with a wonderful mural of Venice. The other big attraction for us is that we could actually hear each other talking! Now down to the important stuff: the... More

Normally I love Sabatino's. Today was an exception. Waiter tried to sell us a bottle of opened wine that was turned. Ordered two other wines off list but unavailable. We finally received a wine that was more $$ but they had it. Had to request silverware after the meal arrived. Tampanade also had to be requested with bread. No soup... More

We've been coming here for years. Great food, particularly love the sausage. Discovered that they do breakfast too. Definitely get in here and try this, it's one of those little Newport secrets that everyone should know about. Highly recommend.

Hotel concierge asked if we wanted upscale/fancy Italian or checkered tablecloths, good food, and Frank Sinatra music. We jumped at the latter. Really cute place. Yes, as others have said, a little hard to find, but phone GPS will get you there. Yes, service could have been a little quicker, but the place is super popular and the servers were... More

Very good Italian food. I had egg plant Parmesan which is always what I order the first time in any Italian restaurant to see if it's really Italian or not. They passed wonderful flavor and not greasy. The bread is another plus. Lunch would be a treat if you like deli sandwiches. Don't miss out, its a hidden treasure.

We live just around the corner and have given this place several chances. The good is ok but the service is always terrible. Do not go here if you have less than two hours to waist.

Sabatino's has been a Newport Staple for years and I have visited for dinners as well as brunches.. This time I was here with a group of 10 folks celebrating a birthday. One always gets a warm reception and I have never had a bad meal . Sabatinos is known for its sausage. On this evening I had the eggplant... More

Old-school Italian with a fresh California atmosphere. Everybody comes here for the sausage and pasta. Lots of other dishes to choose from. The place is always crowded so have a reservation or come early. This place is not cheap but it's a must visit tourist restaurants when you come to Newport
