Excellent Mexican food, I've tried everything on the menu! There is outdoor seating, perfect for summer, the inside has upstairs and ground floor seating. It's family run, the service is great, the entire staff is friendly. It has a full bar, great Margaritas and Cosmos! Kid friendly, there's a big fountain outside usually with rubber ducks floating. It helps keep... More

After a lengthy geographical separation, it was a pleasure to return for an early dinner on the patio and confirm that LG still makes the world's best chile rellenos and cheese enchilada. Clara, a delightful server, remembered us from years past and made our visit especially enjoyable. Although LG no longer numbers combo plates on its revised menu, she knew... More

Varied Mexican menu as one might expect, but the outstanding feature is the barbequed oysters. Really large oysters, perfectly cooked, with a great sauce. I also recommend the carnitas burrito.

I was in downtown Novato and walked down a side street and saw this great outdoor patio. I went there for dinner with some friends and had very good meal. The food was tasty and fresh and our waitress was very good. It's worth a trip.

Las Guitarras is not authentic mexican food, but it does have a nice twist of American fusion, particularly with its seafood items. The crab-stuffed, bacon-wrapped shrimp are a life-long favorite, and the bbq'd oysters are plentiful and classically made. The patio with umbrella'd tables is a great place to enjoy a warm summer evening, especially if a pitcher of mango... More

Good Mexican cuisine. Comes with a salad, big plus for me. Best BBQ oysters around. Full bar. Large menu selections. Good margaritas and pina colada's.

One of the best spots of good Mexican food. Friendly staff and a relaxing patio. I get hungry just thinking about it.

A good friend living in Novato invited us to this nice Mexican restaurant. The service is very good and the facility is very cosy. The food is good and the restaurant serves very good mojito's. Clearly Las Guitarras has a known reputation as it was quite occupied, both inside and outside on the terrace. On weekends and holidays it would... More
