After traveling for a week we finally found the restaurant we were dreaming of! The restaurant is well decorated, the waitress chrystal was friendly without being fake. The food was very good and served with bread and salad on the side. The french fries aren't oily just perfectly cooked. The beer selection is very good as well I highly recommend... More

Stopped here for breakfast because we always wanted to try it since its on the main road but was disappointed, The food was just okay, the flies were everywhere and so annoying. The waitress was nice though. Will drive to Lone Pine next time, tried it once so I'm good.

Love this place! The Ranch House Cafe is a Charming Historical American Roadside Diner.. The employees here are the best, our waitress on my most recent visit (Think her name was 'Burma'?) was so warm & friendly- It almost felt like we were visiting with family. :) The Olancha Fry Bread is plate licking- delicious & big enough to share... Old, long-time standard stop-off on the way to Mammoth area. Used to stop here all the time years ago on our way between soCal and Mammoth, but hadn't been here for years. Was pleasantly surprised to enjoy a delicious late lunch with efficient and accommodating service. The Southwest chicken salad was delicious and generously garnished with a delicious grilled chicken... More

Enjoyed a late Saturday lunch. Food is good and reasonably priced. Good Atmosphere. Extensive menu for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Had the chicken breast sandwich, fries, and apple pie ala mode for desert.

I stopped in here to have a quick lunch before heading home. I had the barbecue chicken sandwich and fries and they were both tasty. Older restaurant, but the food was fine, and the waitress was nice.

An easy stop from LA to Mammoth. They are used to people wanting to get back on the road. But at 11:30 AM you still need to order lunch. They were very nice about it. The waitress explained the grill is small and my pancakes would taste like the tuna melt grilling next to it. Makes sense.

Most people seem to stop here on their way to Death Valley but we had just been there and were on our way across to Bakersfield on our way up to Yosemite (via the Fall/Winter Route via Bakersfield & Fresno when Tioga Pass is closed) and the Ranch House Cafe was in the perfect location to stop for dinner after... We had been driving all day and hadn't had a decent bite to eat for a long time so we stopped here. The decor was like something out of an old movie but it still looked clean. The service was wonderful and we had a great chat with the waitress who was very helpful. Good food at a good price.

Good breakfast so you will last until you find lunch in Furnance Creek inside death valley national park.
