I had a very similar experience to Joduane a couple reviews down The food was quite good and I thoroughly enjoyed my order. My only complaints are that the food took a very long time to come out and the waitress was MIA for a...More

When down in Pacific Grove/Monterey I struggle to eat anywhere else. I eat out around the SF Bay Area often, and I put this restaurant as one of the best restaurant experiences. I have eaten here numerous times over at least 15 years. The food...More

The restaurant is very attractive and the items on the menu are a creative blend of flavors and textures. Both my entree and my wife's were quite good. The downside is that there is relatively little fish in my fish dish. I was disappointed in...More

Starters and mains all very enjoyable (particularly the oyster starter and chard main). Extensive wine list but seemed overpriced (certainly compared to UK) and deserts were a little underwhelming (we had the mud pie and panna cotta).

We loved the peaceful and local atmosphere of Passionfish. Spouse ordered lamb which was just okay; his fault for ordering lamb in a place that has "fish" in the name. Extensive and excellent wine list- I enjoyed the Heitz Sauivgnon Blanc. There was a halibut...More

Best meal of the trip. The biscuits are not to be missed. Every dish was divine from the curry vegetable salad to the banana bread pudding and everything in between (scallops, salmon, and rockfish).
