I love this place and go there at least once a week. They are very friendly and have been in business a long time. I have been happy with everything I've ordered there. My family loves their burritos. The Jr burrito is the perfect size...not too big and not too small.

With walk up service, this is a family run taqueria. The food is great. El Grano is an outgrowth of the tortillaria located in the same building. So, buy a burrito or two and walk down to the beach.

Stopped in for a quick bite and was totally impressed. Delicious asada burrito served wet style as well as a variety of mexican sodas, including coke, pepsi, squirt and fanta. So much better than the american bottled versions.

6 of us stopped in during our vacation. Everybody got something different and we were all happy. Fun atmosphere and feels very authentic. The ladies working there were very patient with us as we decided what to order, although hey were not too busy at the time. Definitely worth a drop by for lunch. Freshly cooked meats and great favors.

Do yourself a favor and get a chicken burrito at this casual spot. Their chicken is stewed and fantastic. The tortillas are made in house and super soft. The burritos are huge so for a normal appetite would be happy with a "junior" size. The BEST pico de gallo around. I would eat lunch or dinner at this place every... More

I hadn't been to El Grano De Oro in a long time, but used to stop by all the time in high school (we're talking the late 90s), so I was a little worried that my tastes had changed over the years and it wouldn't be as good as I had remembered in my youth. Well, I stopped by recently... More

We were in the area and went with Yelp ratings and tried this place. Let's just say when we drove by we weren't sure if we wanted to try it. The exterior and interior is lacking and just felt tired and old. Nevertheless the staff was very friendly and helpful. You order first then pay. The food was just average... More

I have been here many, many times. Sometimes to just get tortillas but usually get their food. Have never been disappointed ! They "listen" to what you want which other places don't. Their fresh tortillas are soooo yummy! They are also very kind and generous. When I had a benefit for my son who was battling cancer, my theme was... More

The food here is very good. There are several tables in this authentic Mexican style restaurant. The fact that it is a tortilla factory is a plus. The freshest and most tasty tortillas are on sale here - one dozen for $1.75 . We purchase a package a week and use them as bread in our home kitchen.
