Evvia has been consistently good food and service for over 2 decades. We started off with some great wine Colgin 2004 Red followed by a Cotes du Rhine red. We had ordered a appetizer platter that had Dolmas and 3 spreads(Humus, Baba Ghanoush) and pitas. We had a Moussaka and their signature wood fire grilled pork. It is hard to... More

Busy place for a Monday. Strange they don't seat anyone until 5.30pm on the dot. We were a crowd of seven so they missed out on selling a few extra drinks I think. Anyway the food was excellent. The mixed starters were very tasty. I had the lamb chops and while very good they were a bit over cooked for... More

I live local, so that is probably why I am not extremely excited about this restaurant. Countless friends had filled me in on how "amazing" this restaurant was before I dined there. The food was tasty and the service good, but I had to book reservations 2 weeks in advance to get a table for 2 on a weekend. It... More

We had been many times to this place in the past. We decided to go back and make an other try. The food is OK, nothing exceptional, just an oriental Greek place. We had the Tarama and the zucchini deep fried balls as starters and then the chicken in a kind of lemon sauce. The chicken was very dry. I... More

The six of us, celebrating a senior family member's birthday, enjoyed a great meal together at Evvia. Half of our party had not had Greek food before, so we decided to share everything so that it could be a full new experience. The wait staff was attentive to our request, trying to accommodate all of the plates in the center... More

This is the best restaurant in Palo Alto by a mile. The atmosphere is elegant, warm, buzzy yet cozy.. The wait staff are pros. Perfect service.. The food is always spot on. All of it. Every time . Literally everything is good. Things you don't normally like you will like here. I always get a few fun starters (usually vegetable... More

place in Palo Alto. Evvia is a very good, solid place focused on Greek food. Palo Alto is a poor or very poor restaurant town, so, it is easy for Evvia to stand out. the staff is professional without fail and the food is very, very good. Also, Evvia stands out for its prices in a town that has student-standbys... More

Had heard great things about its sister restaurant in San Francisco and it did not disappoint. I was recommended to order their daily grilled special, but by 20:30 at night they had run out. Other than that, the food was very good! Very Greek! We ordered the greek salad and it was as it should be, not a leaf in... More

Very well done Greek food. Service is very professional. A long time standby in Palo Alto. I highly recommend it. A bit pricey, but worth it.

A tiny restaurant off the main street, crowded in a nice way on a Friday night. Make sure that you have a reservation to avoid a long wait. This is a place where people visit, and stay long after the meal is done. An open fire grill gives a nice atmosphere. The food was very good, especially the lamb shank,... More

Description
Sister restaurant of Kokkari, Evvia has been serving beautiful and elegant Greek cuisine since 1995. Fabulous fish, savory roasted meats, and sun-soaked vegetables are jazzed up with a spritz of lemon, a little olive oil, and herbs. There is perfection in simplicity.
