I mean, it was lovely to sit outside under the umbrellas. The service was ok... The food was, well, OK? For $40 we had 2 salads and shared the french onion soup. First they delivered our neighbors salads to our table. Honest mistake, no problem, except we ordered 1st. Then they took the food, walked a few steps away and... More

My wife and I stopped in at the last minute on a Sunday evening. There were tables available, and we sat outside. We both had a flight of wines which were quite nice and very reasonable. We shared a Caesar Salad, and the kitchen split it onto two separate plates without us asking. My wife had a special fish dish... More

It's become difficult to find a comfortable dining experience somewhere in between the chain restaurant fare and the very pricey options in Palo Alto. When did entrees start costing $35 at the "low end"? Added to this many restaurants are just too noisy these days to have a conversation. We tried Cafe Brioche this week to see if this might... We stopped here for lunch on a busy Saturday. We were seated right away. There was a line, but there were only two in our party. We ordered the croq monsier sandwich. It comes with a salad or fries. The sandwich was good. It is on the small side, but was plenty for lunch. The service is a little slow,... More

almost a hole in the wall! many people don't know about café brioche. the food is well prepared and the service was excellent. all 3 of us had a fish dish. one of the best salmon dishes I have ever had. wine list surprisingly good. surprisingly the restaurant was quiet enough that we could have a good conversation.

We stopped in on a Saturday morning for brunch shortly after they opened (about 9 am). We were the 2nd table of guests and asked to sit outside. Our server was friendly and the water and coffee were always being refilled. We ordered 2 different types of brioche french toast and an order of eggs benedict. The food took quite... More

We went a lunch . Took a outside table . It was nice and cosy. Had soup and Huitres Sandwich. I liked the freshness of the bread , the juicy meat and the nicely balanced cheese and greens. The size was good for two actually. Would go again in my next trip

Went to Cafe Brioche for the first time and I'll go back again soon. The duck dish with trufffled mashed potatoes and brussels sprouts was out of this world and the service was attentive without being in the way. The menu also had "something for everyone" which is always a plus when you have a big group dining together.

Had lunch here. Lovely little restaurant with attentive, friendly staff. I had the blackened salmon salad - was large and very filling. Had a window seat so could see what was happening on the street outside, would high recommend window seat if available. The toilet was also very clean. There’s parking on the street in front or there’s a large... More

I've been coming to Cafe Brioche for 8+ years. Almost always for dinner. The food is nearly authentic French, with a few California twists. But nothing weird. Every dish I've ever had has been excellent. Last night I had a duck ragu over fresh pasta and it was everything I thought it would be. My companions' short ribs were excellent... More
