The food was one of the best meals I ate in the Bay area - the quality of each dish was excellent.. The Tamarine prawns, as well as the sea bass and cod were fresh and flavorful

Last time we were at this place was 2 years ago and we had been disappointed. This time everything was absolutely perfect, food and service. We had the Hamachi tostada, salt and pepper calamari, the wild salmon and the Ha Long bay soup. We washed all this with a Failla Keefer Chardonnay which was absolutely delicious. The waiter was very... More

I visited this restaurant several times - the first time was three years ago, the quality of the food was impressive. However, during my recent visits - including this time, the food is becoming average, decent enough for a business lunch but not enough to impress my clients. I was also embarrassed once during my visit, I took my client... More

It's good, bit overpriced and quite salty but it seems to be a favorite amongst my peers. Im a fan of the empress rice .

Tamarine is very elegant and the food is always great. Some of our favorites are the lemongrass sea bass and the hoisin lamb chops. The service is also responsive and appropriate. I have been to this restaurant several times. It is stable for out of town guests and business dinners as well.

had expected better for a restaurant that was well rated. Food so-so. Not much in ethnic Vietnamese food and very pricey

I went here with a colleague for an early dinner. We didn't have a reservation but the staff were accommodating and we chose to sit at the bar. We had a few dishes to share and all were of a high standard. The spring rolls were authentic and the other dishes were all full of flavour and well presented. The... More

Very good fusion restaurant with dishes for everyone's taste. Extensive wine list. Good service. Reservation is highly recommended, especially on weekends.

Food is very nice and unique. Be prepared to order plates to share with your table and enjoy a lot of different flavors.

The food at Tamarind is without question, delicious. Is it as good as what you'll find in Southeast Asia? no. But it's very tasty. On that note, because I've traveled extensively throughout SE Asia and had incredible meals at a fraction of the cost, it's hard for me to fully enjoy eating here given the cuisine's origin, yet here, it's... Tamarine is a contemporary Vietnamese restaurant that features the light but flavor-intensive culinary delicacies of Vietnam. The restaurant offers a menu based on small plates, promoting the Vietnamese tradition of the 'shared' meal in which food is shared and enjoyed with those close. Tamarine's small plate entrees are enjoyed with the pairing of a variety of aromatic, flavor infused rice, designed to be mixed and matched to create a truly unique flavor experience. Along with culinary delicacies of Vietnam, the restaurant showcases the works of emerging artists from Vietnam and other Southeast Asian countries. Semi-annual exhibits will close with a cocktail event to auction the art. Proceeds will be donated to La Maison Chance, an orphanage in Saigon, Vietnam.
