My mouth waters on the way over to this great spot! The menu is a true hybrid of burgers, fries, sandwiches, chicken items in one side and milkshakes, sundaes, cakes and cookies in the other. No matter who we take, they always say the same...More

Peninsula Creamery has been a Palo Alto institution for many years. It is excellent for breakfast, brunch and lunch, probably less so for dinner. Service is at booths and tables from a sturdy menu of staples - eggs, pancakes, breakfast meats, sandwiches, combination plates and...More

Had dinner here with my BFF before going to the Stanford theatre. Checkered tiled floors, counter and red leather booths. What can I say but what a fun place to have a meal. I had the French dip and it was good enough. I didn't...More

Great spot for a quick old school diner style lunch spot in downtown Palo Alto - an institution. Lots of good basic, general food, but standout burgers, dogs, fries & shakes! A not to miss when in PA.

Great place. Reminded me of the places i went to as a kid. The food is fantastic, the portions are big and the service was excellent. A bit pricey but everything in Silicon Valley is pricey! Kids and adults will love it.

Old time feel. Substantial servings. Have had dessert and dinner on other visits. Breakfast on this visit. Directly across the street from our hotel. Good breakfast selection: variety of omelets, specials.

A good ol fashioned creamery and diner. Good food and great malts and milkshakes. Booths are quaint and there is a bakery in the back with great pastry. A real treat if you haven't been in a place like this for a long time. Reminds...More

Stumbling across this diner was a treat. I was immediately drawn to the exterior which resembled something from a movie scene. Not having diners like this in South Africa I could not resist having breakfast there. The ambience did not let it down and it...More
