So difficult to find a good dim sum restaurant in this area. We were so pleasantly surprised to find this! Wonderful location great parking right next door to the door. Wonderful dim sum, beautifuly decorated restaurant. Service was excellent! Sticky rice and chicken wings were our favorites.

I tried this restaurant for the first time on a Saturday night for dinner - drawn to the door by the multiple Zagat Rating stickers - hoping that it would not disappoint. The staff was especially attentive to each course, refilling water glasses, and removing dishes promptly upon use - exceptional service. We started with Twice Cooked Baby Honey Spare... More

We had a lovely New Years brunch celebration at Tai Pan. We were able to get the reservation only two days in advance, and were given a star table. It's easy to order too much, but you will enjoy the variety. We stuck mainly to the dim sum menu. We loved it all. The kids enjoyed the pork buns and... More

On a short visit to PA read the reviews and wanted to give a try. Usually we order too much but this evening ordered the Peking Duck appetizer, pot stickers, chicken chow mein & Kung Pao Chicken. Good flavors and warm friendly dinning room. My husband & son enjoyed our dinner.

Waited quite a while to be served. Waiter was indifferent to us and all food came out at once so by the time we got to some of it the food was cold. The shrimp in lobster sauce was bland ($22.00).

Great for meeting friends for a leisurely dinner or colleagues for business. We had a wonderful dim sum, shrimp and vegetables, noodles with shrimp and one dish with shrimp and glazed walnuts. The fried rice was done perfectly and was more brown than white rice. Organic ingredients and all beatifically cooked and presented. Full bar area and wonderful if you... More

This is the most authentic Chinese food restaurant in Palo Alto. Everything is made fresh to order so everything is hot and has excellent taste. Service is good however when they have a full house, it may take time for them to get to you to take your order. When it does become busy and full, it does get a... More
