Sushi Kimagure was my very first experience with sushi over a couple of years ago. The experience was divine. Since then I've been back a few times. If you want to enjoy great sushi in a quite, understated environment this is your place. Highly, highly recommend it.

Set lunch "omakasen" or a la carte. We opted for a la carte with sake. They didn't have amiebi "sweet shrimp" but recommended Pearl shrimp .... The sushi arrived fresh, so fresh the Pearl shrimp tail moved! Will go back for sure and next time sit at the counter....

The best sushi we've ever had outside Japan! The food is absolutely incredible and the staff were so friendly, with fabulous service. We will definitely be coming again...

I've been going to Sushi Ike in Hollywood for 20+ years. This was my first trip to his new restaurant and my god was it worth the detour. You walk through the door and submit to the most sublime experience that money can buy. "Welcome Home" was Ike's greeting. I wish I'd never left.

We are fortunate to live near Kimagure and have eaten there several times. This is the real experience- sublime. Omakase only- do not go to this restaurant if you want all the wacky roll variations that are ubiquitous in Japanese restaurants now. Reserve to sit at the bar in front of Ike and savor the moment as he delivers your... More

With a limited seafood supply in the US, Kimagure provides a great sushi dinner. Perhpas the best sushi I had abroad. There are several courses available about $45. If you are young and hungry, "Sushi" course would provide you with a plenty of food, while "Hana-flower" course gives you variety of dishes. The lighting is perhaps too bright for dinner... More

Every time I visit Ike, it's a different experience. I almost always order all sushi omakase, as that is my favorite, but I have tried the regular omakase once or twice. I love to sit at the sushi bar, but with larger groups, tables are usually necessary. Reservations are essential, especially for the sushi bar.

No bells or whistles, no laser shows, no silly rolls. Just very good sashimi & sushi. Thoroughly enjoyed my dinner. Servers were attentive and polite. Reservations encouraged.

Kimagure was highly rated on Yelp, so we tried it when visiting my Sister. Everything was top notch, and reasonably priced for what we received. The bill for three without alcohol was $160 + tip. The Hamachi & Toro sashimi were particularly good.
