Panini bread with ricotta cheese ( specially the one with honey) was heavenly . Fra Diavolo ( sea food linguine ) was ok …a little bit on a heavy side …like most of Pasadena restaurants this one is also an overpriced restaurant

Delicious fresh home-made Italian food, lovely decor and sidewalk dining, professional service. Perfect location in the heart of Old Town Pasadena.
We recently visited Mi Piace on New Years Day. We had 8 people for a family dinner. We were promptly greeted and seated when we arrived. Drinks were served and The Italian Job was excellent! Appetizers were Bruschetta and Calamari Fritti, both excellent. Dinners were...Fettuccine Alfredo, Linguine Pesto, Spaghetti, Rigatoni and Pollo Mi Piace. All the entrees were excellent! The two things that were a little disappointing was a few menu items were not available. On a busy night I do understand this can happen, but it would be nice to know before we ordered them. The other disappointing thing was we did order a Cesar salad, and this did not arrive at our table until we were almost done with our dinner. Again, I do understand on a busy night this can happen but at this point it should be taken off the bill. Overall, we had a great time and enjoyed the food and drinks.More
Service was really bad !! My Dog Was really Thirsty i asked our waitress for a bowl of water and he did not bring it , we waited for twenty minutes then asked one of the Guys who was cleanings the table he said he...will be right back with bowl of water, we waited 10 minutes we saw him again and asked him what happened with the water he replied rudely why don't you ask your waitress!! I got up and went tp speak to the manager i told her what happened She replied i apologize i will get him water right away , we waited another 10 minutes she never came , We were there for one hour and half our waitress visited us only one time and that one time we asked for a refill for the Ice T she said we don't do refill. Please don't support This place they don't Even care about Animals !! Its a shame !!More
Highly recommended and very busy during lunch hours on New Years Eve. We were disappointed. Food was rather bland and ordinary. Not as good as many Italian chain restaurants and very pricey.
Unfortunately, this visit was a disappointment. The burrata and bruschetta appetizers were just OK, nothing very special. The mushroom pizza was plain. One type of mushroom, the crust is the best part. Penne Arrabiata was so incredibly boring. The pasta was overcooked, and the sauce...had no flavor at all. Most importantly, for the price you’re paying you expect the service to be wonderful and it wasn’t. It was slow and we constantly had to ask for silverware and water refills and even salt and pepper. Even though my friends birthday was notated in the reservation, there was no acknowledgment of it at all. For the price, we had high expectations, and we’ve had better experiences here in the past. It has gone downhill.More
Probably some of the best Italian food that I've had in a while outside of Italy. The staff were excellent a d accommodating to our large group and the in house prepared pastas were excellent! Definitely reccomended and great for large groups.
Amazing pasta dishes with fabulous bread to start the meal. Outside seating was just perfect for a Friday night out. Owner greeted us and asked how our meal was, so kind! We would definitely visit again!!
Very good food, prompt service, and the outside seating was a little like being in Rome! Liked it so much we ordered take out a couple of days later! Reasonable restaurant mark up on wines also.
This restaurant is terrific. Concierge at Langham Hotel recommended it. Everyone in our group of four loved it so much we went back the very next night. Fun atmosphere, friendly and attentive staff and delicious food. My Rack of Lamb was fabulous and friends pastas...were awesome too.More
Stopped for a glass of Tattinger and to sit outside to enjoy the beautiful weather. Fist glass came and it was very flat. Thankfully my server, Tina was very customer first. Once I tasted it and told her it was flat she replaced it immediately...and with a smile. Thank you, Tina for a great late afternoon experience!!More
Had a business meeting with 2 other executives. The service was great and their new menu is fantastic. We always go to this restaurant for our business meetings.
First complaint at 6pm loud dance music and couldn’t hear across a table for 3. 2nd complaint no Bombay Dry gin after waiter said they had it.
Mi Piace was a great spot for a dinner with friends. We just wanted to catch up, have a great meal and create some memories, and Mi Piace was the perfect atmosphere. We ordered family style, so we were able to share a lot of...dishes. Then we hung out for an hour and enjoyed each other's company. The dishes that really stood out, to me, was the Lobster Risotto and the Lasagna. I could eat an irresponsible amount of that lasagna, but luckily we were sharing it so good etiquette prevented me from doing so. The location is perfect, right in the heart of downtown Pasadena, so if you're doing a day there, Mi Piace is a good spot to recharge and refuel.More
We booked a table for four for lunch with baby stroller at 2.15. But we got the table after 2 hrs waiting in a crowded area where there was no room for the stroller. We ordered our food and it too came half hour later....Service was bad. Worst of all none of the Hostess nor staff apologized the delay. We will never return to this place no matter how famous it is.More
