My husband couldn't stop raving about the yak momo. I had typical vegetarian fare, including veg momo -- their sauce is terrific, with a flavor unlike any I've had in the past. Our server made recommendations when we hesitated, and we were very happy with all the food. Everything smelled amazing. They may have been a little disappointed that we... More

We started with the Yak Momo, which our server, Tinku, recommended. Having never had Yak we were cautious. It was delicious. We moved on to a Nepali Set Menu of lamb masala, clay oven roasted garlic, mint chicken (sumptuous), and chicken phing, an auspicious dish with long noodles representing long life. The spices used in Nepalese dishes are more delicate... More

My husband and I decided to try Tibet Nepal House for lunch with my sister while visitng Pasadena. My brother also joined us. We tried Yak for the first time with the Yak Moo Moo dumpling appetizer. The yak was very flavorful and a fun experience. All food was served family style. We had the Tofu Salad which featured a... More

We love this restaurant. We have been coming for the daily lunch buffet on and off for a decade now. The price is fair. The staff is lovely with our kids. The food is why we come back so regularly. It's home style Tibetan food- more like mild Indian food than anything else- chicken tandoori and curry, lots and lots... More

We love Indian food but usually go to the same place, over and over again. The other day we tried Tibet Nepal house and it's definitely a cut Above what we were used to. First, it isn't really Indian but it's very similsr. We had Simosas, which were delicious, garlic Naan which was exactly what it was supposed to be... More

Nepali food might be described as a cross of Indian and Thai cuisines, which might be obvious considering the geography of the region. This place offers a very broad range of menu items that covers it all, and has plenty of vegetarian and vegan options. The portions are fair and the prices are really affordable, and best of all, the... More

We had a table for 4, and order all kinds of dishes. We started with dumplings, chicken and yak. Then we went on to green beans, Baigoon Aloo (eggplant), chicken dish, shrimp dish, and bread Apricot Naam. I found the dishes tasty. The foods reminded me of food from an Indian restaurant with a different slant. We brought along a... More

We loved this place. The cuisine is similar to Indian food but a little different. Very realizable prices and plenty of food. The service was good. It was just a fun and good change of pace. We will be back

Went for lunch buffet. Food was good, but tasted like average Indian food -- nothing special. Nice decor, though, with Tibetan artifacts on one side and Nepali on the other.
