Barney's Beanery is a place I stop by for a meal whenever I am in Pasadena. The history is nearly legendary. The menu is classic American diner. Their chili is really good. Lost of beers on tap, TV's at every table. Great place to enjoy drinks and a meal. Friendly wait staff.

A classic spot! And way bigger than I suspected. Definitely check out the upstairs if you're into billiards. Pretty cool decorations. Dance floor down stairs in the basement. Food is always good.

Ate there twice between 12/15 & 12/19/2016. Both experiences were fine. One was a Friday night about 6pm and were seated right away. The next was a Sunday for the Packers/Bears football game. Sat at the bar with my Son, it only took about about 3 minutes before we were talking to other people at the bar. Very friendly place.... More

You can watch whatever sports you want. If you do not see what you want, just ask. Very friendly staff. Great food and appitizers and dinner food. Wide selection of beers.

This place was okay. I like the atmosphere but way too busy for waiters to keep up. We had to get our waitresses attention each time we needed something as she wasn't too attentive which was understanding as it was very busy. Food was good. Drinks were okay, not strong at all.

Great sports bar, a little loud at times and my friend kept getting hit with a pool stick while we were trying to eat dinner. Menu has many many choices. We were there just to catch up so it was a good visit. Pizza looked appetizing and the pretzel sticks were delicious.

This place is more for a happy hour & grab some bites. The food is hit or miss. But if you are there to chill for a game & just snacking on stuff here and there it does the job. I mean it is a sports bar. The brunch is meh but again, it is what you are looking for!... More

This is a place that doesn't take itself too seriously, except when it comes to preparing good hearty food for its customers. The atmosphere is -- how to put it? -- something between a diner and a carnival, maybe. There are plenty of oddball decorations, from old motorcycles to assorted gewgaws on the walls and ceiling, to amuse and distract... More

I've been to this place before and it was a hit that time around, but this second time around it wasn't so. The hostess showed us to our table which was a table for a group of 8. It was 3 people. Our waitress was okay. She took long to get us our drinks. My friend order 2 rounds of... More

Cool pub environment but went downhill from there! The food was average. Really nice server but the Service was bad. Had to walk to the Bar twice just to get a water refill for my wife and I. If you do go get the chicken soup but not the chicken dinner. In a word (dry). Waited forever just to get... More
