I love this place. The dim sum is just as good as any place I've been to in SF or Oakland Chinatown. During the week, you can order off the menu, but on weekends, you get the full effect with the carts coming by filled with fabulous options. I sometimes call and order three or four items for a take... More

We have enjoyed KV with much larger groups so this was our first visit with a small group, only 3 of us so we didn't order a plethora of items. We went on a weekday for lunch and the large seating area was perhaps 25% occupied. As the building is older it can feel cold inside during the winter. We... More

In the quiet part of Pinole downtown with free parking on the side, we had lunch on Monday at Noon where some 20 diners were having dim sum or the lunch specials in the wide open room for 149. I was told the building was a bank because I was looking at the high ceiling's dark beams and some fancy... More

In the quiet town of Pinole sits an excellent dim sum restaurant, just as varied a menu but at a much better price than the more famous places across the bay. From the plethora of carts a diner can choose any dish from the steamed morsels, baked selections and fried tidbits that look and taste great!

I have been going to this restaurant for awhile now. The food is always good and consistent. My favorites are the soy sauce moodle, shrimp fried rice and the kung pao shrimp

I really love this place for a local dim sum that is also delicious! My friend is Chinese so she knows all the fun dishes to order. On this visit we had: pork dumplings, stuffed crab claws, cold seaweed, roast pork, and a few other more exotic dishes. All were very tasty and the service was quick and efficient. Very... More

Hi gang, Got invited by our friends (Chinese speaking, thank goodness !!!) for a Dim Sum brunch. Our hosts ordered for us in Chinese with the servers and explained exactly what we're eating. The servers roll by with fresh, hot dishes of everything imaginable on carts. We asked for a plate of this, a bowl of that and after about... More

Now you don't have to challenge the traffic to get to fine Chinese dining in San Francisco, Berkeley or Oakland. Pinole is a charming small town overlooking San Pablo Bay. Nestled in the downtown area, King Valley has ample free parking and is a short drive to I-80. Yes, they offer excellent dim sum at reasonable prices. But don't over... More

Always a treat to eat the food here! We make a special trip to eat at this place. In fact we will detour just to get the Tim Sum! Every one in the family loves it!
