One of my favorite restaurants. Every time I am in Pismo I go to this place and order the seafood bucket which is prefect for two, actually a little too much for two. The seafood taste fresh and their service is great, the atmosphere is...More

The food was great! We had food left over! We added lobster to our bucket for an additional $16 dollars and got 3 good size lobster tails. We definately go back when visiting the area.

Good food but the prices are extremely high for a simple place. Good service ( but 20$ a sandwich ... )

Our bucket cane out undercooked but they made it more than right. I’ve always loved the food here. This was the first time they messed up, but I’ll still be back!

If you like crab, this place is good. The crab is tasty and the place has a fun environment. Not sure how this place is any different from other places that can boil crab, but it is good.

Stopped by on our first night in Pismo. There was a 45 minute wait but we put our names in anyway and went to walk around. The hostess called us 20 minutes later to let us know that there had been some cancellations and they...More

My dining partner loves to eat things that crawl on the bottom of the sea. I personally prefer swimming foods from the sea. He had the cioppino and was quite pleased with the dungeness crab and fresh gulf prawns. I had a caesar salad with...More

We ate at the cracked crab for dinner as a party of five (3 adults, 2 kids). While the specialty is buckets of crabs dumped on the table, we all ordered an entree from the menu instead. Everyone's meal was delicious and fresh and the...More

To See-Food or not to Sea food... that is the question. Little to no flavor, but lots of bucks! Being a Shell Beach local, I tend to avoid the obviously tourist food spots...but I was in the mood for some seafood. Since this place should...More

We JUST ate there the day before yesterday, and yes, they did hand us a beer/wine list. You can also go to their website and email them and they will respond directly to you. This is a family-run business and they are very... More

On a holiday weekend last year we had a 2 hour wait. But last weekend (on a Friday) we had virtually no wait at all coming in at 6:30 or so. We were surprised, but very happy based on our prior experiences and expectations.

You can see their entire menue online. Some things are pricey, like the clam bake, but other things are within average. It's one of my favorite places to eat. It's really a special place.

Our Mission To provide excellent food and service to all of our guest in a clean, comfortable, casual AND FUN atmosphere. Serving the finest seafood available, in a most casual style.™ The Details of Our Philosophy Although we serve fine food in a nice atmosphere, please dress casual should you choose us for lunch or dinner. Our concept is largely based on dumping a bucket of various shellfish on your table with a mallet, crab crackers, and other tools to get the job done. It can get messy, but hey, we clean it up! We feature "in season" product, printing our menu daily based on what's available. We serve several local fresh fish daily, and use local farmers for fresh in season produce all year round. We use a local butcher and a local baker. We always have a steak for those of you who don't eat fish, a chicken dinner for those of you who don't eat fish, and we can sauté a vegetable dish for those of you who don't eat fish, meat, or chicken. We have been open since May 1999.
