It's lovely to sit outside and eat. There was an extensive food and drinks menu, however, the food wasn't very inspiring and didn't match up to expectations.

We've eaten here, mostly on special occasions and have always had a wonderful, relaxed time as it's easy to be tricked into thinking you're on vacation. It's a lovely location with overhead lights and heat lamps. The food is a bit fussy, but always nice and attractive. Fun offering of mixed drinks and tequillas.

We have lunch here nearly every weekend (dinner is a bit pricy) and always come away satisfied. Sitting on their expansive front patio in nice weather is a great way to enjoy downtown Pleasanton while eating a delicious meal with a tasty margarita.

A menu of classic Mexican dishes including a fabulous tequila selection. Great service, and a great location in charming downtown Pleasanton. Don't miss the Enjococado, billed as an old family recipe. Chicken in a wonderful sauce topped with sliced almonds. Outdoors or in, it will be a memorable visit.

We had grandchildren visiting from Utah. They wanted a good Mexican meal. We all loved our dishes and the chips and salsa were excellent.... More

A coworker and I were in town on business and our hotel recommended this place to us. Every person we came in contact with here was awesome. Our servers were fantastic and helpful with recommendations. We had the best queso ever which had sausage and peppers and onions in it. The queso also came with soft tortillas, which was different,... More

We had our friend's 50th birthday party here and it was a great experience. Super helpful staff, wonderful food and house made fresh margaritas. Guacamole and salsa stop notch and food is fresh and tasty. I highly recommend this Mexican restaurant if you want a great meal on Main Street in Pleasanton.

This will be my first and last visit to Blue Agave. The shrimp dish listed as the best thing on the menu and confirmed by our waiter to be good was gross. It is a plate of black sauce that looks like slop. The taste was odd and the shrimp where rubbery and fishy tasting. After two bites I notified... More

Every entre is delicious, but the selection of Margaritas is why you go there! Pleasant surroundings, great service and just a great neighborhood spot!
