Closed down, not surprised. The food has been going downhill for a number of years. When the food was good, I enjoyed their back patio more than Alberto's front patio.

Looking for some good local Mexican food we thought we would try this place out. Well we did take out but it 5 min before the host came out to help us. The bar was loaded up but that was about it. We ordered simple things like tacos. What a mistake. I think for the three of us I paid... More

Around noon we were downtown Pleasanton, Sunday, for a street antique fair. Wall to wall people, standing room only at all the Main Street restaurants. We found Fernando's just off Main Street. It's hard to truly evaluate the service since we were the only ones in the restaurant. The server was very friendly and attentive. We started with Jalapeño Poppers.... More

While I normally do not like restaurant with young children, this restaurant is an exception. For some reason, kids are so well behaved here. Maybe that is because children are well catered to. Within 5 minutes children have good nutritious munchies.

The bar area is large with space spilling over to the outside patio with heaters. Drinks are good, but they do not give the free appetizers anymore, was a good draw! Food is good, I eat in Mexico a lot so is a bit different, but a good local restaurant.

How many times have you ordered chicken nachos and been disappointed? Fernandos has consistently had the best I've ever had. I love the hometown atmosphere and its always a great place for lunch!

This place needs to be torn down. In a previous life it was used as a gathering place for tobacco addicts. The stench is still dreadful. It could have the best food in town and be free and it would still be awful.

My husbands favorite Mexican restaurant! I love their sangria! Always empty when we come in unless you go to the bar area. You really should try this place though.

The food is ok, average, but I love the beans. They have a great included soup or a salad that are both unique and good. The wait staff are good and keep you happy. Located right off Main st in Pleasanton
