We love Cowgirl's Mt Tam cheese in all its forms. It was particularly good in their Ham & Tam sandwich. We picked up lots of cheese for the balance of our road trip & enjoyed every bite.

On the morning of my final day in California I made it the Creamery in Point Reyes. I was so excited by all the delicious things on offer that I inadvertently left my mobile telephone behind on the check out desk. When I discovered the loss I telephoned my number from another friend's mobile, the call was answered by Marci.... More

Excellent cheeses from Cowgirl Creamery plus from other nearby producers and very knowledgeable folks behind the counter answering questions and providing samples. Also a provisions counter with pricey ($9.75 for a salami sandwich) but quality items with local artisan ingredients and organic produce. Wine, beer and nonalcoholic drinks, too.

I have purchased their delicious homemade cheeses at Whole Foods but didn't realize they were located in Olema until I ordered lunch at the restaurant. Good food and deli if you can take cheese back home with you.

For cheese lovers, this is a must. With an incredible variety of cheese and oodles of other goodies (breads, meats, olives, spreads, sandwiches, salads, etc), the hardest part is making choices. Our group had a triple cream Brie, goat cheese, sheep's milk cheese and aged Gouda. Each had incredible flavor, texture and I just wish I could have tried more!

This is a great stop for cheese and other snacks to accompany, such as sausages, crackers, bread, pickles, etc when in the area. Their in house made cheeses are fresh and tasty. They also have some selection from other artisans. We like to stop here first before heading to any of the many great local hiking and exploration areas to... More

This storefront does have samples, if you can get someone's attention. It was not even especially busy when I was there, and the counter person was helping another couple, but she didn't even bother to acknowledge me or try to get anyone else to come over to help. I tried several of the cheeses a most were tasty, but the... More

The selections are very good though all are on the expensive side. You can taste everything and make your choice from that. Lots of local condiments available.

Overpriced. Bought some of the goat cheddar, and it was very briny. Had some of the tomato soup and it was terrible - I couldn't even finish it. Service was slow and uneven, and after purchasing $50. worth of items there (for 3 people - soups for three, some bread, cheese, olives and a beet salad) and then sitting down... More
