Many do not like Chinese buffets because they are not authentic chinese food. I like the buffets because I do not like waiting for my food. I dont mind having a self served approach to eating. It does not diminish my eating experience as eating with friends is what is important. Ita a bonus to have food that is tasty.... More

Food is mediocre at best. Half of what we are from the buffet was cold. Atmosphere is depressing. Almost surprised by the health department A rating given that the restaurant seems in disrepair and definitely dirty.

I have been here for lunch and dinner. You cannot go wrong here. This is on a par with any Las vegas Buffet, at half the price.

We came here in December for the first time and were surprised how great a place this is. We came again in March, still terrific. Lots of choices for all from fish/seafood to meats and veggies. They even have a stir fry chef who makes them to order, We stopped in twice while in town as very reasonable place to... More

Out of town family invited themselves for a visit so they could scope out the Coachella Valley as a new home possibility. As they are part of the Asian American branch of my family, I asked the meal preferences of everyone. Everyone liked typical American food, but I also found out that one of them is a Vegetarian. The Emperor... More

Reviews were okay and I really would give them a 3.5 if allowed. Lots of sushi selections which is fine if you like sushi. Mongolian stir fry which my husband had and loved. Good selection of normal Chinese buffet options. Attentive refills of drinks and clearing of our empty plates.

Off Hwy 111 just before Rancho Mirage boundary at Frank Sinatra Blvd, there is a large orangie colored building which is the Emperor Buffet…there is plenty of parking around the building ---entering this huge restaurant is a small lobby area and the hostess podium. You are seated in the large dining room area, and then you go on a hunt... More

At first glance it is overwhelming. A huge space with buffet offerings to match. There is the Sushi buffet, a Hibachi selection, generous piles of crab legs and shellfish in abundance. The selection is too much to describe, all of it fresh, the containers are changed constantly and the result is a lot of choices with most of it good.... More

It is a buffet with plenty of selections. They also had sushi to choose from. The food was good but not special. Ate our fill and met our expectations. Prices were good too.
