Went for lunch with office colleagues. Good selection of food and drinks is available. I like the ambiance a lot.

We've frequented this restaurant sporadically. It is away from the commercial main stream. It's located in a small neighborhood strip mall in Redwood shores. Reservations recommended on Friday and Saturday evenings. There's a full bar that's thriving. The food is good. The menu offers various seafood plus skirt steak & filet mignon.
We stopped in for a late lunch. We ate on the patio overlooking the lagoon. I had the burger - tasty and prepared exactly as I requested. My wife had the special a sea bass tostada that was beautifully presented and perfectly cooked. We had a glass of wine from the weel rounded and reasonably priced wine list. We will... More
If you want to hold a nice customer reception, give this place a try. Mistral is near the Pullman Hotel and Oracle and has a nice bar and outside reception area with heaters that allows your customers to have a good time and not get into horrible traffic to get there. Appetizers are good and wine selection is decent. Service... More
I have never been disappointed at Le Mistral. I have brought large business groups (12) and single associates here for lunch, dinner, and happy hour. Each has been a great experience in the restaurant, the bar, and the huge enclosed patio. Bar staff is friendly and attentive. Happy hour appetizers don't break the bank. (Try the skirt steak satays!) The... More
Even though it was cold and rainy, the patio area was excellent. They have the heaters and fireplace to keep you warm and the shields to keep the rain out. It was a great dinner with great company.
It's probably because there aren't enough nice restaurants to take clients or bring your important discussions....restaurant is way too noisy during the lunch hour. Have never tried at dinner but I don't plan to go back any time soon !
When visiting Oracle's HDQs, Mistral is a favorite stop for us, however, location often drives that decision. They always have interesting specials, a full bar, nice wine selection and a variety of menu options. There are many incredible restaurant options in the San Francisco area and when compared to them, Mistral would not fair as well. For Redwood City, however,... More
I went as part of a group so had a group meal (choice of main) and not the usual menu. Despite our number, the staff did well to serve the whole group at one time with many dish choices. Food was tasty and served well. Drinks were suitable for the occasion - I would go back
Nice little bar in a restaurant walking distance to Oracle HQ.....good service, drinks and food. Small but good beer offerings....and tasty appetizers.
