We went there with friends. First impression was a little bit mixed. The entrance is dark and not very welcoming. But as we entered, we were surprised how huge the place is. Their range of entrees is great and we really liked it. Our friend lived a while in Peru and said, their food was really original.

Lovely Peruvian food in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere. There is a really fine selection of seafood dishes to choose from. Very friendly staff. I will definitely return.

For so many years we have passed by this place right across from Sequoia High School. My husband wanted to try Peruvian food, and not knowing what to expect we entered Estampas. I was about to turn around to leave........the restaurant was dark, the decorations kind of kitschy and there was only one other couple in the whole place at... More

I go here for the lunch specials which offer such good value. You can have the specials with either soup or salad. I always choose the chicken soup which is extraordinarily good. Obviously created from scratch, the broth hits the spot unlike any other made from scratch chicken soup I've tasted. Lunch specials are complete meals with made from scratch... More

The intention was to have a good Peruvian dessert.........Not having the dessert "Suspiro Limeño" in a Peruvian restaurant is a fail.

We truly wanted to enjoy this ace but the lomo soltado was basically inedible.. I could not chew and swallow the tough, awful beef. We had recently been to Loma & hoped to enjoy some Peruvian food.. It did not happen. They also dud not have the wine i ordered .. One of only 5 they offered. Sadly, this place... More

I lived for a couple of years in Peru -- and, while it took me a little while to acclimate to the food, once I did, I was hooked. The memory of that food is usually badly betrayed by "Peruvian" or "South American" restaurants run by people who have no business running a restaurant. NOT so at Estampas Peruanas. Our... More

This is an absolute neighborhood gem... next to an adult store on El Camino in Redwood City.. Ok.. the location is not the best.. but they serve the best ceviche in the Bay Area (IMHO). The Peruvian food is spot on. Love this place..!
